@@giovannigiordano8366 cheating isn't dictated by you. it's dictated by the developers. stop spreading misinformation that this counts as cheating. the devs have already addressed the using the console to create commands. educate yourself, do your research, then talk. if you really think you can just say something is fact based off your feelings, then I feel sorry for you.

make sure f7 is bound to the console in the normal menu settings or maybe try a different bind on it. also you want -console "space here" -dev

@@FFAmefs surprisingly i gave up on it and i randomly tried pressing f7 like 20 mins later and it popped up...idk what happened but it worked out lol thanks tho!

type binddefaults and hit enter, then reset your binds to default in the normal menu and restart your game.

for doing the go to actives for the burst, then to add melee also, you would have to make an alias command (I'm still toying with it), or what I do is bind all actives command to one button then the insta phantom melee command to another, then bind both of them to your side mouse button. so, this is what I do. bind e "+in_item1;+attack;-in_item1;-attack;+in_item2;+attack;-in_item2;-attack;+in_item3;+attack;-in_item3;-attack;+in_item4;+attack;-in_item4;-attack;" then bind j "+in_weapon1;+attack;-in_weapon1;-attack;" then make a macro on the mouse software thats "cycles once" with j j j e (press and release) with one millisecond intervals. then you can just spam side button and you'll get all the actives with an instant zero animation light melee with damage. hope that helps. my method here is janky, but it works for the insta kills.

yea mouse button binds are all working for me. try resetting stuff to default and rebind maybe? might have an accidental double bind or something.

could be "+in_alt_cast_modifier" im not too sure, I haven't messed with that one at all.

If you only need it for 1 item, you can bind the item and the self cast key to the same button, turning that slot into a self cast. You can also then use a macro with a different key, in case you wanna use the item on someone else. But if you need it for multiple items then i dunno

Quick cast, no. Macros, yes.

"+in_mantle;" is jump "+in_innate1" is roll/dash to get them to not override each other and come out one after another instantly? I'm not too sure, but you could definitely just bind jump into dash like normal with your mouse or keyboard software for a normal macro without console commands.

I pretty much agree with you. even if it's easy to execute manually, I still prefer the skilled way. this vid is for essentially not gatekeeping what mass amounts are already doing and getting done to them. also, the quicker it gets worse, then the faster it has something done about it. that's my logic at least. so, I say everyone just abuse it while they can until its fixed or valve put out a hard statement on it, and it will also help it get fixed. I'm curious more than anything how they do allow, or not allow this when the time comes.

@FFAmefs I agree with your points aswell. As for what they will do about it if they do take a stance that it's not allowed.... they will simply start banning people who are abusing macros. If they say macros are allowed then at that point everyone has to use them if they wanna be able to compete. But as I pointed out with their recent stance on the wooting and razer keyboards being abused in csgo I don't see them not doing the same for macros in deadlock. For now I'll stay away from macros and just learn what I need to so if they do ban them, I'm ahead of everyone who now has to learn how to play the game without them.

@@IMIute very true. this is the best road to take imo, if they start kicking people out of games that do it like they did the socd, and snaptap stuff, then youll be ahead of the curve in doing it manually.

I think quickcasting macros is fine (should be in the game by default). Setting one button macros is where it is a problem

although I do advocate for things of this nature within reason and when not against tos, in particular for higher skill gaps, I personally don't think macros should be allowed in deadlock, but I can't say that I've seen any official response anywhere on this game nor about the quick casting settings, which is more of a grey area and lots in higher Elo have it bound this way. If you could point me in the direction of an official response by valve saying they will ban players and consider it cheating for using console command shortcuts in gameplay for deadlock, I'd appreciate it.

if Valve doesn't want ppls using console scripts they would remove it completely from a build, it's not that hard to disable console outside debug builds and most games do it. So idk what u going on about, you probably mixing in game macros and external ones like AHK trigger bots , etc... Show proof !!!

@@paradajzgamingtv8355 Yoshi (head dev) said in the discord that these commands are temporary until they get more shortcuts added to the UI in game. Instacast is also going to be added around that time and he asks that testers not abuse the commands right now (but obviously its not bannable)

Just like the other comment I need to play around with it to see exactly what it would be, but maybe: "+duck;+attack'-duck;-attack;" That might be it? To fire one projectile at a time, like Yamato right click. Once again not too sure. I would have to play around with it. Any full auto heroes you just hold crouch.

@@FFAmefs It's kinda hard to do a slide macro, it require precise timing instead of throwing everything at once. I tried "+back; +duck; +attack2; -back; -duck; -attack2;" but the slide happen so fast the bomb animation on yamato can't launch. So i'm not sure if it's possible. I think that slide macro might be a mouse macro.

You should be able to, if not you might have to make an alias with it, then combine the aliases. I believe its "+in_weapon1" for melee so if you add something like: "+in_weapon1;+attack;-in_weapon1;-attack;" That might work? I can't confirm if it does, but it should be something in that ballpark assuming "in_weapon1" is melee. you might can just remove the "+attack and -attack" to make it work. I need to play with it to check.

Imo, that's a big executive skill set in the game of activating and comboing abilities and actives together, but if you bind 7+ inputs to one key that you only have to press a couple or few times, then it takes lots of the skill out of it, and becomes combo binding to one key and just spamming it for crazy burst dmg and cc at ridiculous cut times and Eas ability.
