Testing the newly released Jackery Explorer 1000 version 2
1000w and 650w loads and a Variac connected to an oscilloscope looking at the pure sine wave.
On an initial test I did have it turn off and throw error F6 which I believe is due to an over load on a cold start of the lamp, which caused a high inrush on the 1000w lamp. However after a restart the lamps had no issues turning on.
You can hear the fan noise, but seems to be considerably less than other 1000 units on the market.
Doing a full discharge test under 1000w load it was able to produce around 950wh of the 1070wh rates capacity. So about 89% efficient.
The fans remained relatively quiet over that hour, and the temperature of the unit as displayed in the app reached around 45c. The ambient temperature was around 25c.
Recharge test took about 1140wh from utility power to charge its 1070wh battery, so about 94% efficient charging.
My intended use is for the motion picture film industry which requires low noise.
