The director actually said the boss (Mujin) was supposed to be younger but the actors trio (Pildo, Jiwoo and Mujin) got along so well that he decided to cast Park Hee Soon. I wonder if that was real the intention (romance) because they did a lot of changes while the kdrama was still going on. For example, the sex scene was added abruptly because the director wanted to show Jiwoo's human side. Even the actress said that it was so out of the blue and wasn't sure if I would match the story line (so it wasn't only me who thought it was out for nowhere lol). From my pov, it seemed like a father and daughter relationship, but somehow their chemistry was so strong that it seemed more than that... Mujin literally gave her a tattoo close to her chest, thought of buying a house beach for her (maybe so ge doesn't get caught up?), saved her at the warehouse. He did care... but his emotion was ambiguous (the writer really pull that off, and it's something I disliked it LOL) at what cost? his own life.
