In this episode, We face Mortarion with our best knights, a dreadnought, and Kaldor Draigo. This consists of a two-phase fight. a vanguard squad with Draigo fighting Mortarion and a Rear Guard keeping any supporting death guard away from the vanguard within. I brought the best gear I could muster, and you are probably thinking it's overkill. I'm here to tell you These heretic filth deserve nothing less than complete and utter overkill. In the great words of Rogal Dorn: "They are coming, Kill them all."

Mechs with wings.... now lets see how many mechs have actual wings on them? I dont think its hard to guess what mech chassis will get a legendary variant.
Here's to hoping we get the Men Shen medium Omnimech. It could be done relatively easily by scaling up a Raven and adding geo to its torso to match the wider profile.

I would like all missiles using some stream, all ACs using some burst fire... all weapon heat spread over 3 seconds, heat scale count as long as the weapon is on coolown, not after 0.5sec when firing. Then also apply the heat over 3 seconds as well, to reduce spikes.
I would like if devs will create NEW missiles for this instead nerfing streaks.
This idea of streaks is completely opposit to actual purpose of streaks in Battletech.
Honestly, as long as it gains utility, I don't really care "how it is in Battletech" What's balanced in a turn based tabletop, isn't always balanced in a FPS. I've tried extremely hard to make streaks fun, and failed every single time. And I'm sure a lot of the community feels the same, otherwise changes wouldn't be needed, or even considered.
@@Sare204 Its because in MWO streaks very nerfed. In MWO its harder to aim because of long lock and it cannot fire without lock while should. This chage gonna nerf it even more with slow firing instead hitting target with whole salvo at once.

Huh. Since custom fixed equipment is apparently a thing, and changed physics properties and jump jet quirks are probably easily within capabilities, a Legendary mech with a fixed Partial Wing makes sense. Clever use of the capabilities you have! It'll be interesting to see a mech that 'glides'.

The Hive's plague AE is a psychic attack so the Culexus is immune to it. That really helps deal with the gimmick. That+someone in the starting Terminator armor that has plague immunity on it can pal around and soak up all the plague AEs as long as they stay closer together than the remaining two units.
You didn't have to fast forward through that final hit on the bloomspawn. Overall, fast forward is a good idea, but for final hits, you could show the action in real time. You did show it with the second one, but after the first one I was worried.
Just like Baldurs Gate - but Chaos Gate. 👍
I can't do the win without WP deeds. I never fail to instinctively use something that takes WP like a force strike or psybolt to finish something off. It would be nice if it was like the no crit deed and using WP was just not possible during the missions.
Great mission. One of the all time great plot/story mission fights I think.
I have not noticed better gear being gated behind Technophage missions. In my experience it is simply just having the armory unlocked and RNG. Technophage missions suck and my guess is that it is the primary reason Duty Eternal reviews were so bad. Technophage plus Bloom Assault is just a nightmare. Even with Duty Eternal disabled, so no Technophage, I actively avoid Blood Assault because they are so long compared to other Bloom Spawn missions.

Technophage Bloom Assault with no Dread is the hardest mission in the game. Bloom Assault suck period but the Technophage stupidity on top of it? Fuck that.
Repairing the Hull is not a great choice unless you have maxed out building all the void shield upgrades and you only have 2 hull hit points left which is basically never in the late game.
I hate those artillery bloom spawns. Do you know their minimum range? Is it just directly adjacent? The tool tip does not say but mentions blast range 14 which is a good ways out for a max range.
With 3 ship HP I am pretty sure you can 'safely' attempt any Warp Storm. Which is to say, bad things can still happen but the most damage I have ever seen done to the ship in one event/choice is 2 HP.
Curious to see how you end up building and using the Techmarine. One of the issues with Duty Eternal, for me, is that I found the Techmarine to be bad and not worth taking over an equivalently geared and leveled GK of any other class.
I wish in the post mission reward screen you could compare rewards with your existing gear. A lot of times it's hard for me to know how much of an actual upgrade a piece of ranged gear. I have a better handle on melee gear.
I always take Callidus first. I think Culexus eventually becomes the strongest of the four but early on the Callidus is insane on any mission outside of bloom assaults/sacred servitor missions.
I keep trying to like Duty Eternal but man it is a beating and I just can't get down with it. I believe it is actually the hardest difficulty setting in the game, trumping even GM mode.
I hate the trench maps. I can never gauge the pod detection radius accurately.
I assume the certain mission you reference is the Craft World? What happens if you don't do this by day 250? I used to drag it out (but apparently never went past 250 days) but with Duty Eternal and the Technophage addition, I rush it now.
I love this game and am happy to see someone else playing it. I am constantly surprised this game was not a smash hit. I believe it is better at it's own game than actual XCOM 2.
