One of my subscribers asked if I could show her how to make this card. It looks like a standard 5x7, then it opens to a gatefold, which opens to a double-sided popup card. I used layered florals on the inside. This card has a lot of layers so a lighter weight cardstock for the card base is best.

Love the card and thank you for showing how to make the piece instead of the Die. I live in NZ and it was very dear to buy from Swivel Surprise. Added up with exchange rate and postage to nearly $100. Hope to make soo many Xmas cards like that.
Glad that it was helpful. The dies are always nice, but they get very expensive, so I try to always find a way to make cards without expensive dies, or at least give an option.

Could this be done with an Octagon Die.? I have a set of 14 dies in this pattern. The circles dies I have are too small
I dont think so because of the corners. You would have to leave extra room on the lever so that it would fit over the corners of the octagon, but you could try it. However, if you don't have circle dies that are large enough, find some bowls, plates, anything round and trace them then cut it out with scissors.

I got the Chloes Crafts circle nesting dies recently because the Crafters Companion ones that I had just weren't large enough.

This is so pretty. I think it would be great as an easel card too. I was thinking as you were making it that this would be a pretty wreath for a covered door for fall. And using premade flowers really makes it quick and easy, my kind of project. Thanks for sharing.
