220uF/10V is to low for 12V supply. You need at least 25V. The voltage of a capacitor is usualy 2 time the voltage of supply.
The maximum voltage that can flow through pins one and two of the NE555 IC is 4.2 volts. Because the capacitor gets 4.2 volts then the ic trigger.

Can't see circuit diagram because I don't have WhatsApp. You'd be far better off using strip board or linking the pads with wire rather than splodging the solder between the pads. You're likely to get the solder bridging the wrong pads the way you're doing it.
