Grew up with a C and a D.
Gotta make tracks in that fresh snow 😂
WOW! Very Cool!!
@dennislaumeyer4741 i was telling my uncle about how i really wanted to find a power horse, turned out hed been gathering parts for 20 or 30 years, it took me a couple years to fix find and come up with enough to put it together, its sure a fun one
wow! i forgot about the color of that coolant; back in 1984 we used it in our N.C. Morsiki Lathes, and Makino vertical Milling machines
What is the tooth profile?
Mod 20
@@andytroutwine8348 Thanks. For perspective, I cut gears of M0.3 and M0.5. Tiny compared to yours.
@robguyatt9602 im pretty sure thatd be near impossible on this machine
@ For M0.5, the end mill would have to be 0.4mm ball nose. I've been using involute cutters to date but am changing to hobbing.
beautiful footage of a Case steam tractor, was the lady explaining how steam engines work to her young child? or just admiring the view of the moving parts going around?
@eliotreader8220 there is no case engines featured in this video. The young kid is the owner
@@andytroutwine8348 oh sorry I thought she was built by the Case company
4:40 pm 10/03/24 Thank you so much for sharing your video with us. We had shared a lot of those memories with you, and we hope to again. Keep up the amazing work you do 😊
Glad you guys came to the show again, was a very fun year, we will have to stop in and see you our next trip west
12:10 holes!
"Randall, there's holes in there" "Thersawoodfar. Yergunahavholesinther."
This is SO Cool, great it stays in the Troutwine family, lots of memories and lumber saws with this old Case.
I was in Choteau in the summer of '76. Camped with the Rainbow family. Then moved to the Glen Llyod Hotel. I welded for the guy who made creosoted fence posts. I finished what he wanted. He sold me gas for my car for .55 cents per gallon for part of my trip back to Illinois. Great town. Cherish my experiences there.
What a great video of the weekends events. Andy, you have much to be proud of here and when I saw your wife and baby on the tractor I melted...followed at the end by you and the little doll with the comment "daughter rides are the best". Your talent as a craftsman is obvious in the tractor, but your character as a human is shown by your pride and care of your family. Lead on good man, lead on!!! (Rod)
Great video!
This video turned out so great!
Simply beautiful
Wonderful presentation, thanks
why is it on the power eater?
What a awesome set up
Install a heated seat. lol
Must be Montana.
Could use some grousers if you plan to get on steep ground. Nice old crawler, and with that big winch could be very useful.
Surprised at the lack of traction.
The ground is froze
That thing slaps a nasty beat!! Lol
Ha shay
STELS⚡
No throttle on that machine? It looks like idle speed.
hit & miss engines only idle. if you look up how they run it explains alot
No way to change the speed?
@@Stefan_Boerjesson nah, its a set rpm that will have it fire when under the set rpm, but then leave the exhaust valve open when above it. Great for fuel economy bc not every 1/2 revolution’s it fires but also has good torque bc it self-moderates under load
@@john_doe668 I know hit & miss engines. On a veteran railroad we a little, but heavy traktor, 1 cylinder and it fires at every stroke. The sound is very similar to the old fishing boat hot bulb engines. That made me wonder.
What an awesome looking train
Don't see any steam leaks, so we're guessing compressed air......
Where can I buy one ? How much weight in total?
Yep. Looks like good fun. Enjoy it.
Looks like you are having fun driving the ole gal.
Nice brother!! You Famous Now!!! Mike Y.
Zona 30?!?!
Hp: 4.5 torque: YES
Nice job on the Mogul look a like. The engine is a throttling governor not hit-n-miss
Yes nothing like loose clothing and rotating machinery to send you to meet god just a little faster
Ha 😂 stuff you see on the internet 😂
nice lolly shaft
Va tan rapido que no lo he visto pasar.
Hey Andy it was awesome meeting you in clarkston at the cycle shop!! 🙂
awesome idea
nice job that mill looks good
nice job looks a good finish
Slow down , you gonna turn that thing over ! 😀👍
Hooo to
Espectacular 👌💪🇦🇷👍👍
without differential gear?
is it a selfmade tractor?
It looks like the engine is a lot older than the rest of the machine .Guessing from the long belt coiled at young lady’s feet , the machine is more of a self propelled power source than a tractor.
Awesome!
Can you imagine going from Silent horses to hearing that racket on the farms what a change that must have been what a scary sound that must have been for those who had no idea what it was
