Video clips of my and my partners travels on mainly the motorbikes (that's the BMW GS) This can be anywhere in Europe. There maybe the odd video of day to day life of living with a Suzuki TL1000s plus the odd video of my grumpy Jack Russell Molly. Did I mention that I am restoring a Honda CB400 F2 1977! Well I am and I'll take you through that pain as well. Plus as I get to use my camera and drone I'll be publishing those as well.

Lets talk street twin and ride around the coast

On a cold but sunny day I decided that instead of sitting around the house to get out and enjoy some of the local scenery. I took a little ride around Whitsand Bay, Cornwall and then took an opportunity to quickly talk about my Triumph Street Twin before heading home for roast dinner...nom nom www.trinityhouse.co.uk/lighthouses-and-lightvessels/eddystone-lighthouse www.castlesfortsbattles.co.uk...

A ride out on the Suzuki TL1000s to Exeter. Also, a moan about MCE insurance broker and how much they fleeced me for when I cancelled my insurance. I am still waiting for my refund from their broker who went into liquidation. Enjoy the ride www.unionroadmotovelo.com/ www.bridgemotorcycles.com/
Honda CB400 Rebuild Part 10
Переглядів 952 роки тому
Hi, so I've finally got around to restart building the engine. This has proven a big learning curve for me. I have just taken small steps and reading the manual, looking at the parts manual to ensure I get this right. So this video is crankshaft in, gears in and bolt it up. Gear selector fitted. Not the most exciting video but it is a video record for me though!!!!

Hi all, so I finally got to measure the big end bearing clearance post getting the crank measured. Just a short video on how I did that using plasticgauge. It turns out that they are all good!
Triumph Factory Tour and A Disapointing Bike Show

We took a drive up north to visit a few friends for a weekend. We took in the Triumph Factory Experience Tour which was really a great insight into triumph. Then is was Motorcycle Live the following day which us proved bit of a disappointment. Wide Horizons were selected to complete a promotional video to show the processes involved in building a Triumph motorcycle from start to finish. Watch H...

So, the girlfriend was away for the weekend, her bike was sat in the garage idle, I knew where she kept the keys. I thought 'let's take for a proper ride and little review'. Then why not meet up with a fellow blogger @Saddlebags73. Enjoy the ride as we go for a ride around Devon and Cornwall Thanks to @saddlebags73 for lunch Thanks to @sidandkim2wheelsadventures www.louistearooms.co.uk/ www.tri...
2021 A Ride to Union Road Moto Velo Cafe and Catch A Glimpse of Batman and His Car

I had to get out of the house for a few hours and decided that a ride would be the best way to use my time. I take a ride Crediton where the cafe and B&B Union Road Moto Velo is and grab a drink and a bite to eat before heading towards Exeter. There's a bit of waffling as I discuss my potential house move. www.unionroadmotovelo.com/

Adjusting the Suzuki TL1000s Clutch to stop it dragging
I have one... they are more powerful than a lot of 125s... there is a video of a chap taking one of these over 3 passes on the Swiss Alps.
had 1 for 8 years never broke down
thats good to hear. Mines been a little star.
Hi i have 125 address where do you get yor service parts from and how long do they take please?
Hi, I get them from Wemoto online
I have a 2019 blue one like yours. Again a work commuter. Much more fun than my gen 2 Hayabusa.
aye, awesome get around machine
Loved the review thank you. May I ask your weight for reference please and can it go up average sized hills ok? Thanks
Hi there, 100KG, probably average 50 up hills. I'm still running 'Bluebell at nearly 6000 miles with just one blown bulb and rectifier failur. Awesome little machine.
I always wanted a TLR so I bought a clean one 3 years ago. Never selling it. Only going to improve it for many more years to come.
Always a keeper. Thanks for watching
Unfortunately the microphone is vibrating
I've got exactly the same problem, bought new clutch cable and wormdrive assembly, fresh motul oil and still same problem! Been told my my experienced mechanic it's the clutch plates sticking so take cover off and soak them in oil over night and make sure there's no metal burrs in clutch basket or warped plates and it's all put in correctly as per manual, is yours OK now since this video??
Hi, yes it works. It does have heavier clutch springs from the previous owner hence why the clutch is so heavy.
Thanks for the video dude. I'm doing a cable conversion on my TL1000R and had no idea how the setup from the TLS was. Lifesaver!
Just bought a ‘99 TL-R with Yoshimura exhausts (oem cans included), it does sound the nuts. Sounds better than my Aprilia RSV Factory with carbon Akrapovic exhausts.. Love Suzuki’s take on the gear driven cam noise too
You know TL stands for Ticks Loudly.....lol
He is Angland?
Thank you for posting this. I still own my '98 VTR SuperHawk (Fireblade in the UK?). Just love V-twins. The sound, the torque. 👍
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, a booming twin is music.
@@waffey2008 no worries. Cheers mate!
The TL1000 is wonderful. Though I have to admit that rear seat hump, in my opinion is super ugly. 😀
Thanks for watching. I do have the seat but I prefer the seat hump as I can get a bit more in it when I go out.
Where did you find the manual? I only have my owners manual, and I'm looking for a more comprehensive one.
Try this forum www.tlzone.net/forums/suzuki-tl1000r-tl1000s-forum.2/
Alot of tl1000s if someone has to burn it out it burns the clutch with too much torque and very snatchy and violent too on how they ride
8k is when the ram air kicks in and hold on lmao and drive safe man
Thanks, yes, love the power punch you get with the TL
I have a one that I have had for 16 yrs and all original every piece and sound is good
Hi, thanks for watching. Yep, amazing bikes. Mine needs tidying up so I'll be putting her to bed soon.😁
Nice bike where did you get rear suspension and was it easy to fit
The bike already had the suspension fitted on the rear (Hagon Shock). Thanks for watching
Great video I’ll go do mine now!
here can i get that wind deflector visor? i only find de big screen from Suzuki original or GIVi but also very tall
The screen is an original Suzuki screen. I purchased it when it was new with the Top Box
@@waffey2008 tanks. in my country they only have one screen option and its the highest one in transparent colour its to ugly 😁 the one you have is much more nice
i had a TLS 1997 when new , loved it but had loads of clutch issues and traded for GSXR750SRAD at the time, just bought a 1999 TLS to join my ZX9RC2. love the character of the twin and the induction roar of the Ninja :-)
I worked at a dealership and we had a TL1000R tricked out trade in It scared the crap out of me when I came out of a turn and it stood straight up
Not experienced that on it but then again I am cautious when exiting a bend!
The chain adjustment is always a pain, when tighten up the 36mm main nut the chain goes tight!
Agreed, my chain is U/S now, will replace this year. I'll probably take it off the road for a while and tidy it back up. Thanks for watching
@@waffey2008 I flipped the axel around so that the main bolt is on the right had side, means you can tighten it up without the chain tightening up. works a treat. I went for welding the slipper clutch too. as soon as you get wear its US.
clutch centers wear out after a while , mine hung up time and I I gave it throttle I hit higher revs because I was expecting it to engage, but it wouldn't grab at all until i was into the throttle and I wheelied straight up and down in an intersection . Second time on two different TL engines , I got both centers welded . End of any problems .
Is it a easy mod to get done ?? And cheap or costly to get that done ???
sounds like my 97S with full Yosh exhaust ! Great sound quality. Had mine for 20 years not for sale😊
Thanks for watching. Defo a keeper, no way I'm going to sale mine
Great video, informative content. Thank you kind sir.
Thanks for watching. It has its moments but it makes me smile everyone I ride it
cool :-)
Subbed 👍
Fanks
Let’s go! 😊
Vamonos......
always found My TL was a C U Next Tuesday to get into neutral when the oil was due to be changed. cheers for the video needed to adjust my cable regardless
lol, defo better with the oil change. Chain and sprockets next.
I’ve had one for six years, it’s a cracking little bike and very reliable.
4 Years in and still riding for the odd ride around town etc. Easy to maintain
Nice!
I have the same one. Haven’t ridden it yet. Very soon though. Sounds great
They make lovely music!
Was that Portwrinkle @6:50? Stunning views along the coast there. Brought back pleasant memories. So you like the lack of power. Sounds like you’re ready for Royal Enfield 🤣
No, I started a Tregantle Fort, your thinking of Cawsand. I like the idea of the Royal Enfield but I do no have any room left in the garage! Yes the power is great. Let's call it bimble speed compared to the TL which is a bit more of 'panic speed'
Ah ok. I’m not that familiar with the area, but remember signs for Portwrinkle when I rode to Rame Head. Sounds like you need a garage extension 🤣🤪
A beautiful run along the coast 👍
Yes, just a very short bit. I'm planning to do some more over the coming months
Insurance companies rob us and don't even wear masks. I thought MCE had gone bust though? Looked like a good ride, even if you couldn't visit the Honda place! I miss riding down your way, I must get back down again soon for an explore!
Thanks, MCE original underwriter went bust. As I said, I felt I was robbed.
Hey, nothing wrong with the lanes I ride 🙂. Those twisties around Gunny…I was there man 😎 You’re welcome to my jokes. Nobody likes em 🤣 Cafe 53 closed on Sundays? They’d be better off closing on Wednesdays 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the comments. Love the twisty bit after the bridge as you could probably tell. Keep the jokes coming
Yes that caught me out not so long ago. Bridge are closed Sundays. Moto velo is a nice place though 👍
They never used to be. Moto Velo is now my choice
@@waffey2008 since covid it changed. Moto velo has a nice vibe, 👍
🤐🙊🤪👍🏼
Plenty of lube action in this episode. Glad it's coming together
What language was he speaking
Pirate!
Thank you
Congratulations, look forward to seeing it in person X+1👍👏
Yes, soon hopefully
Nice bike. Looks a bit like a Ducati Scrambler
It's that retro look
Happy New Bike Day 🙂
Always love a new bike day. I will need to own a guzzi some time in my life. A friend of mine when I was a teenager had one. Liked that look then and now.
@@waffey2008 Once you go Guzzi, you will never get it out from under your skin!: D
Good choice - I'd say the Triumph is a far better bike. Did you test drive the Continental GT?
Thanks, I didn't test ride it in the end, it's one of the moments you walk into a MC shop and go.......'you will be mine'
Ruby ruby ruby ruby!
You just had to do it, rode it today, so different from Sidney weirdly...luved it though...the only the bike that you have that i can ride due to the height, great afternoon.. Ruby or Nancy! Xx
Bleddy ansum 😍 Look forward to being formally introduced 🙂
Soon hopefully.
Well done, even with a manual, I think I'd struggle to do this sort of stuff!
with the manual it is a struggle but use that with a help of forums and youtube videos I should master it.
@@waffey2008 🙂
Nice going, looks like some seriously complicated stuff going together there.
looks complicated, step by step hopefully i'll have it right.
