I hadnt played trials for several seasons because I had lost 2 straight games at Match 7 which happened a few seasons / months ago with the old mercy card (Which only forgave just 1 Loss regardless if you had been flawless or not that week or ever). It just made me never wanna do trials again except for whatever must have even non-adept weapons may be good in PvE content. I like the changes they made with new cards and that people are not going to have special ammo every round, so, I gave it a go with the Persistence card. Took me about 16-19 Hours straight to get my 1st ever Adept Trials weapon. I luckily also got a pretty good roll that could be used in both PvE & PvP as Im mostly a PvE player (IE: Raids, Dungeons, GM's, & Legendary / Master content). The Roll I got was this: Arrowhead Brake barrel, Armor Piercing Rds, Heal Clip, Target-Lock / Rampage, and it was also a range masterwork. Although, I already have the craftable solar AR's Abyss Defiant and an Ammit AR, the Summoner just feels better and stronger. What the Ammit doesnt have is Wild Card and the fact that I can put an adept mod in it because I had never gotten the Adept Abyss Defiant. 1 of the 2 adept weapons I was missing from CE (the other was the scout), as I felt 1 master run with all the challenges was gonna be the only time I was gonna do it unless a clanmate or friend needed help completing it (I guess the bridge challenge I could do as I felt that it was probably the easiest to do IMO). It was extremely hard even with the persistence card and I guess spending so many hours in trials, it kinda made me somewhat decent at PvP. Friday night, I was at 5 wins and had lost and I guess I left a second or 2 too early and it had flawed my card. So, I had to reset the card and start all over again haven just spent about 5-6 hours to get that far. Note for Persistence Card users: So, I hear, you want to win the 1st 2 games on a reset or fresh persistent card so, it wont become flawed, and also hope you dont disconnect or leave a match too soon like I had done or that will also flaw your card.

I hear you. Trials can be a real demoralizing experience. I was never into trials but thought a few weeks ago, what the hell. I'm bored. Grabbed a card and went in. My mistake was I didn't get the mercy card. I managed to go 7-1.... losing on 6th round. I've been trying ever since but to varying degree of success. What I'm learning is A.... I'm not terrible. B... I'm getting better every weekend. I only play d2 a few times a week. So that says something. This weekend was hard. Lots of people want an adept summoner. I got mine with subsistence in 3rd and onslaught in 4th. It's a great gun and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Heal clip is great perk. Perspective helps when doing trials and the loot is good. I've gotten some really nice drops throughout my experience. Perspective helps with trials. Go in looking for growth, trials is manageable and can be rewarding. Go in with skeptism, it will be dreadful.

I am not a PvP youtuber that goes Flawless every weekend. In fact I never have but I wanted the Adept Summoner so I tried a Passage of Persistence this weekend. Let's just say it sucked. I played 67 games of Trials with 23 wins and 44 losses. I did have a card flaw out for no reason somewhere in that but I don't remember when. I finally did get the Summoner Adept on my 7th win. It just dropped at the end. It dropped with Heal Clip in column 3 and Kill Clip/Onslaught in Column 4. I was stoked but after all that I didn't even try it out yet. Was it worth it, Maybe. Do I regret it, probably. Will I ever slog through that again, probably not. The reward to effort ratio is just not worth it. Also I'm a Hunter main but Titan is what got me through this insanity. 😮😅

My strand hunter build took me about 8 tries. I hate it when i realize my grapple is gone and i fall off the arena, all my deaths were caused by gravity

Just a tip, run solar hammers preferably with pyrogale gauntlets for huge dps. Also, scatter signal, with hothead and use the fusion rifle as your main dps with hothead ticking and auto reloading in the back and triple strand surge. You’ll cook him a lot faster. Should take about 6-7 totems on the second boss if done right

I can't even complete Act 1...

titan, osteo, ar2 (incandescent), eleatic. solar (didn't use any abilities though), nothing special with regards to armor. it took me probably 20 tries, there is not a player in the game that sucks more at combat than me, not one. i can't get the hang of using strand, so i don't. for me the biggest challenge was not getting thrown off the field. i just ran in circles shooting till everything was dead, including the main guy. i attribute my success to mostly luck (give a monkey a typewriter) ; )

probably the best way too betray her. everyone survives in this ending. and even though you "betray" her. her actions that lead her here hardly paint V as the bad guy (still went with sending her too the moon too see that ending first time)

Did you try other weapons or just the bow?

Mine did. I was wondering if shooting my double would result in me taking damage and that hesitation was enough for it to close in with a knife and kill me in 2 hits.

You should consider using Heat Rises over Icarus Dash in this encounter. Icarus Dash isnt really doing anything for you here, and heat rises will help you get your grenades back far faster. OR use Touch of Flame instead of Icarus Dash if you didn't have it on earlier. And maybe hold off on using Arbalest for DPS, lol. Arbalest is a back up utility weapon for dealing with orange bar enemies and barrier champs. You should definitely be using Forbearance and Solar Grenades for Ad Clear. Whisper is good for DPS almost exclusively on Oryx, but Cataclysmic works too. Rockets are fine if you have someone who can keep the thrall at bay. If you really want DPS, Izanagi's and a Cataclysmic with BnS or a FL Taipan is perfect here, and killing the ogres with solar grenades is easy, if you have the fragment for scorch stacks. You dont really have to worry about dying here, especially when a solar grenade and a melee can kill the orange bar knights and 3 wave frame shots can put down the yellow bar knights.

Just done it on Warlock (Strand) / Osteo / Drang / Typhon GL: I burned my super asap, then ran around the outside edge and kept running and shooting things with Osteo. Eventually, we got to the shield phase, where I was able to leap up via Strand Grapple on top of the dome, and do damage through the roof, so to speak. This is the old part two of the Eso cheese; and it still works. Good hunting!
