You are 100% wrong. All that is going to happen is that people will hold on to their older gas cars longer, creating more pollution as they age. Electric cars are not our savior they signal the end is coming ever faster. Want to know what happens when an electric car is bought, a gas car is traded or sold, so there is absolutely NO difference in total emissions. Electric cars create emissions every time they charge since 80% of our electricity is generated by coal, oil or nuclear fuels, all of which contribute to global warming. The only thing that changes is that more fuel efficient and cleaner gas cars will cease being built, and older more polluting cars will be on the road for a much longer time.
