One is my urban commuter and grocery getter. It is a Detroit Bike. Two mountain bikes for off road and trail riding in the forest. One an old 1998 Trek 950. The other is a Sette Serum I built. One fat tire bike for winter and off road riding in sandy or rocky terrain. It is a Framed Alaskan. One carbon framed drop bar road bike. It is a 2012 Raleigh Revinio. One drop bar cross bike. This bike is a 2015 Kona Jake. I do a little of everything. Road, gravel roads and trails. Last year I biked about 4,000 miles and drove 1,200. There is a bike for every purpose. There is no point in getting a mountain bike if you are going to ride in town. You don't need suspension, wide tires and multi-gears. Figure out what type of riding you want to do and buy a bike for that purpose. Cycling helps keep me fit and sane. I'm 63 years old.

my brother sounds the same as yours lol

any bears or big cats around there ?
@@msmiami1960 Hello and Happy No Complaint Thursday Margaret. In the area where I was riding today there are black bear and bobcats, but you rarely see them. You have to seek them out e.g. hunt them. A few years ago there was a cougar roaming 25 miles north of town near Grand Lake. I fear running into two legged creatures (humans) more than forest dwellers.
Corell Ware coffee / tea cup ?
Good eye and call Ann! Originally belonged to my great uncle and his bride. House rules: before noon, cup and saucer mandatory; afternoon mugs are optional. Exception to the rule is iced coffee, which are consumed from 16 oz glass jars.
Hurricane Beryl was coming to Edinburg, but then decided to go to Houston instead. It was a sunny day here. If I had new tires on my bike I would have gone for a ride.
Hey Glenn! Good to hear from you. From what I heard from my cousin parts of Houston could use a good cleaning. Get some new skins and get pedaling.
Film the rain storm I love those take care !
Did my best Margaret, but we were on the edge of it. My apologies for calling you Mary in my last reply. My paternal grandmother was named Margaret, as well as a maternal aunt and two cats.

Happy Monday and thank you to a fellow catherder. That is quite a collection. It's a struggle and things can be pretty discouraging at times . . . but knowing there are others out there who see what's going on gives me strength and I'm not going to let the bastards grind me down.
Hate to generalize, but what the hell. Michiganders are the most impatient drivers I’ve seen, I drive over to Minneapolis and Wisconsin and Minnesota drivers mostly go 65-75 on highways, compared to the 85-95 I’m used to in Michigan.
Happy Sunday. I replied to this once and then did an edit to add a little more. My comment disappeared.YT is censoring me on my own channel. So . . . we have a lot of people who can't walk and chew gum at the same time who have the attention span of gnats driving while using a phone, stoned on weed, pills, meth, booze etc. In a big hurry to get to the next stop sign or red light and buildings that are not going anywhere. It is a miracle there are not more traffic deaths.
Hey Pal, great to here that you are getting a new addition soon cant wait to see the kitten. Its good to see you coming around. Haven't seen the sky rats in a long time. How bout Dick Van Dyke and Mel Brooks both 98 and sharper now then most people. Take care ,,,,,
@@Big-Cs-Music Thank you Cole. Happy Independence Day. Its going to be a while before the kittens are weened. I've decided to get two. It is still a struggle. Miss my little man. So quiet around here and I feel so empty.

i like how you did all that for your cat. for anyone who doesnt think animals have souls all you haf to do is look into your cat or dogs eyes and you can see it. hey do you know what, everyone who supported biden suddenly doesnt support him because CNN suddenly told them not to and they act like its theyre own idea and forgot they even supported him.
Thank you. It is the least I can do for what he and all of them give me. Not only do they have souls, but their love is unconditional. You are right about sleepy Joe. Many have been saying it is elder abuse. Did you see the way Jill had to help him down the two stairs and say to him how he did so good? He answered all the questions! Like she was talking to a toddler who colored inside the lines with crayons. You were on the automatically approved comments list on my channel and this one today was back in held for review. YT playing games again.

I'll try to hang in there Peter. If you don't mind my asking, what drew you to my insanity?
Your house is beautiful. ... don't change it .... stay real
Thank you. I'd live in a cave if I could. We do need a new roof, but I have grown quite fond of the urban camouflage paint scheme. Some years ago I helped my cousin side a couple of houses and I am adverse to putting vinyl siding.
Please don't stop
good morning mike! your house looks like a mansion, but needs some paint thogh. i think the poloticins are just following a agenda to destroy everything on purpose, thats why we all like president trump!
Thank you. Good morning to you as well. This home is actually pretty small, but is too big for my needs. We spend most of our time on the sun porch. Hopefully we are going to get our roof re-shingled this year. Next year, either paint or siding. I helped my cousin side a couple of houses some years ago. After that experience I did not want to put plastic on our home. It gives me hope that younger people see through all the BS going on in this country, and the world for that matter. Let's go Brandon!

awe, i love the mike show; such a nice day out too i love it when the clouds are out like that in the summer time. the only biking i do is on an X bike inside. im going to haf to get one to ride around outside it sounds like it is more fun. do you got a mountain bike or like a ten speed thing?
Thank you. The rain and cool weather were a nice break after our mini heat wave. I have six bikes and enough parts and pieces to build another. I ride them all; they each have their purpose.
Hello Mike , didn't see any city chickens today, Not many people read the paper these days we might be the last generation. That Sully is one cool cat , its good to see Mikey`s eye is coming around :) Take care
With the education system the way it is it is a miracle anyone can read and write. Forget punctuation and grammar. Social media, smart phones and texting helped in the dumbing down, too. Sullivan J. Ballbreaker, esq. He is doing the best he can with what God gave him. I can't say that. He is growing on me. You can't help loving him. I think it has been 3 years since he showed up in this neighborhood. He was a mess.
hav you tried gardening? every things real expensive right now at the store! i think biking changes a person.
Just a plant here and there. Everything is too expensive. It is getting to the point where you have to have a payment plan to buy a pound of hamburger. You are right about biking changing a person. I will never forget the first time I soloed without training wheels. It was on a blue Schwinn Sting Ray. I think I was 4 or 5. I made it down the block and crashed into the neighbors Spirea bushes. It started my love of bicycling. Gardening changes a person, too. Nothing like digging in the earth and watching the cycle of life. Do you ride a bike?
At least you live with 3 0r 4 cats.....
Forgive me but I do not understand the point you are making?
Flax seed 🤪
Its good for the ticker and adds some flavor and texture.
i forgot it was the first day of summer yesterday lol. be cool mike; dont stay safe ❤
LOL Thank you. Heading out for a ride through the forest on my mountain bike. Hopefully the bike and I will return in one piece.
