Sorry to hear that but also the door normally resets in time but glad the video helped.

Would you prefer to have a view from inside in the door with the tool grabbing it? I would like to know. But also when using a slim jim use the pass door since the driver door has more wiring in it also in some cars have a fiber optic cable on the driver side.

I haven't replace the housing. But if your new one comes in 5 pieces the snap the sides off since they're glued. Just be careful not to damage the board. Also you should be able to take it to a Locksmith and they'll charge a few bucks to change it over. Not a mobile Locksmith find one that has a storefront.

I know I'm open for emergency service. But If someone calls it a job so please wait until Monday. Sine most shops will have a long weekend if you're in the Midwest. But Tuesday and Wednesday is when we do most walk in appointments. It's cheaper on those days.

My machine has long passed warranty. But I cleaned out all the grease out of mind have have used a different lube. They have that sound but the grease is cheap and hardens. I use the same grease that is used for mixing bowls. Hopefully this helps. Also remember when it get really cold the sound changes.

Thank you. I've been told my video's are long but since I was military I don't know everyone's mechanical knowledge so I do the video's for my kids or my folks. I don't rush it. I use to have a parts list and tool list but got told it was way to long.

1) Get inside your vehicle and close all of the doors. 2) Use your key and turn your vehicle into accessory (ACC) mode on the ignition. 3) Next, you’ll hold the “open” or “unlock” button on your key fob until you notice your vehicle’s lights flashing. Hope this helped

Does it start the car? That remote has a problem with the remote circuit board getting corroded. I've found that a Q tip and rubbing alcohol cleaning up can fix it. If it's water damage you will need a new remote.
