OMG! It was way too cold for this Cajun girl! It was 28 degrees and WINDY! I wasn't able to take much video because my brain wasn't working properly. This was my first iMovie video; the audio is a little "clippy," but I'll be practicing to get it right for the next one. Baby steps.

I believe you overlooked the last stanza. it ties in beautiful! She found what she's made for....... Waiting for pure love❤!
Can u please do everything I wanted it such a great song
Billie has been releasing music since 2014. She's gone through many phases. The items on her desk are outfits she's worn through her phases.
Why even bother?
I don't understand your question. Bother with what?
only watch music videos if they're from lana's official channel xD the footage from the video is probably just random clips from anywhere
I love me some Billie! There is something universal in this song. To me it's about questioning and longing at the same time. There is hope in there as well. Beautiful song
New brazilian sub here, nice video
You're awesome! Don't stop doing this! PLEASE 🙏 ❤❤❤
I'm here for this ❤❤❤
You are awesome....please don't stop doing this! I subscribed, and I'll always be here ❤
Billie Eilish at only 22, she is the 2nd best selling female artist globally after Taylor swift since 2019, she is the youngest in history in almost everything! 3rd female artist in history with Lady Gaga (after Madonna and Adele) with most albums #1 globally. With only 3 albums she already sold 50M copies and 300M records worldwide! She has almost 25 Guinness world records. She won 9 Grammys, 2 Oscars (the Barbie soundtrack “what was I made for?” Is so emotional this song 😭, she won Grammy , Oscar and Golden globe for this song too, plus for James Bond song, the youngest in history and the 2nd woman after Celin dion with the Titanic song) she also won 2 Vanguard awards for her impact in music and fashion industry. Her biggest influences is 40-60s of soft jazz era.. Julie London, Frank Sinatra, Peggy lee (a more expressive and charismatic era of music .. “Crooners”), Mazzy star, Lorde, Aurora, Lana del Rey and many others. She likes using all music genres experimenting with her signature sound in every genre. She is amazing! She is a charismatic cool rebel empathetic strong girl, for me she is the Madonna + Kurt Cobain of this young generation, for the mentality and for her impact socially. She doesn’t care about that industry and this toxic society rules. She is herself, anti conformist, if you like her ok, otherwise she doesn’t care it’s not her problem. She writes her music with only her big brother and she directs, edits her music videos, shows Etc everything she is behind.
I think every human comes to question “What WAS I made for??” We question why we were born, what we are meant to be doing and how we should live the “right” way. I felt this way this year and it made me turn to God. I feel like before I didn’t understand just how deep this was until I shifted my thinking from a child to adult. It made me understand that all of life is an adventure and even when bad things happen, there is always hope even if we can’t see it at the moment.
I'm glad you're seeing life from a different perspective. Life is full of uncertainties that are scary. When you know you can handle those things when they happen is when the anxiety goes away.
this song saved my life but breaks me at the same time
He sings “I’m vanilla baby” and I believe vanilla means regular or boring or missionary….I thought it meant that he is not into whips and chains
hey! i just came across your channel and i'm loving your videos, you seem so sweet!! please consider doing ariana grande's "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" at some point <3
Just to let you know this song was written five or six years ago and Billie seems to be doing a lot better emotionally now, she has a lot of other songs that are emotional and meaningful but not as bleak and depressing as this one, so please don't be put off lol, I know listening to a song like this is probably hard after a full day of being a therapist. I would suggest checking out her songs "Happier Than Ever" and "My Future" which are lighter and show how much she has progressed in the years since her first album.
older fan of billie here. just love her, always touches my soul. here to watch her grow and see what else she want to share with the world. such a special talent :)
Next time pull up the lyrics before you play the song. Genius website for references and annotations
You're so cute.... ❤
MOM?! hahaha!
Love your reaction! But giirl, what video where you watching 😭 She never released a video for A&W herself so you probably watched some cracky fanmade one haha! Lana has some songs with less confusing lyrics, try - Summertime Sadness - Salvatore - Mariners Apartment Complex
LOL! "cracky fanmade one." Cracked me up! Yeah, that's what others were saying. That's why I was so confused!! hahaha!
Thanks for checking this out... this song and her full album literally saved my life. I cried 😭 for hours after hearing this song Just the fact that it truly is about suicide for some reason gave me hope, kinda force me to confront my feelings Sorry it was kind of a downer Not all her songs are depressing but they all make you feel something Thanks
There's a quote by Voltaire that I love - "Music is the pathway to the heart." I think sad songs validate our feelings; that we're not alone in these feelings, and that others struggle too. I really glad that her songs helped you.
Can u do “everybody dies” by billie eilish too?
Hey, just found your channel and I'm loving it! As someone said before, this song is about sexuallity. On Lana's songs, you should really read the lieycs while listening, so you'll not miss any word, because each one of them are very special. I think you miss the one word that gives meaning to this song: "look at me, the Leigh of my hair and the shape of my body, if I told you I was *r*ped* do you really thinks that anybody would think I didn't ask for it" I would recommend you her Ride music video, and also all of her last album Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd".
I had the lyrics, but I couldn't watch the video and read the lyrics and process it all at once. Thanks for your comment and input! Lisa
The song is abt loss of innocence/ sexualized women. For example She says she hasn’t done a cartwheel since she was 9 cus young girls get to a point where they become aware of not doing anything “inappropriate” (spreading legs/ skirt lifting up) even tho it’s just a simple cartwheel. Ur interpretation of the hotel stuff makes sense since she’s alluded to her being a sex worker in the past in a good amount of her songs, especially unreleased ones from before she became famous. She mentions the age 33 so her fans know which ex she’s talkin abt, her ex when she was 33 cheated on her and got married to a whole other girl while they were still together, so it made lana look like she was the side piece rather than the other way around. And like another comment said there’s no music video to this song so u were prob watching a bunch of her music videos edited together lol. U should check out her “ride” music video. It’s like 10 mins long but it’s rlly fuckin good and meaningful or for just a fun vibe watch her west coast music video
Thanks you for your input. Very interesting life she's led. I'm glad she's doing well in her career!
Lana is pure art ❤
I just came accros your reaction of Billie. One artist that you HAVE to react as a therapist is Ren, the song is Hi Ren. Internal struggle, self doubt, all of it in a genre that you never heard befor and with a powerfull ending. 9 minutes of the best description on mental health that can change live. I sub to see it with you. He is independent and reacter friendly ( he love reacter commununity) so put it up their 🙂
Listen to Melanie Martinez. Every single album she puts out has a music video for every song. Her newest album ‘Portals’ has 4/13 music videos out for the album. You can pick whatever one seems Interesting to you but some of my favs are Wheels on the bus, class fight, void, tunnel vision, and mad hatter but I love all of them
nah --she's shallow.
@@atlantis308 Don’t lie
Ohhh I'm really excited for you to circle back like you mentioned ! She's the only artist i would say it's worth it to take the time to discover Lana's entire discography. My favorite albums are Honeymoon, NFR, Lust for Life, Paradise, Ultraviolence, Blue Banisters, Tunnel ... ALL OF THEM !!! 😅❤ I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest, reacting to 2 of her lives from her 2015 endless summer tour !! Sang in the same show, "ultraviolence" and "shades of cool" P.S. you are NOT an older woman ! 😝
There is no video for A&W. I guess you are watching some fan made video, you shouldn’t, they are usually pretty confusing. A&W is a pretty rough start for a first time Lana listener. I hope you do more. 👍🏻
That's good to know because, oh lort! I'll circle back to Lana after doing some others. Thanks for your response! Lisa
Can you react to A&W by Lana Del Rey? Or Candy Necklace by lana
A&W is perfect for therapists to react to there’s a lot to take in with it
I appreciate the billie content. A very sad song and I guess the recommendations for you from people are mostly her songs with mental health struggles as you are a therapist and probably interested in it Just so you know her music is not all like this but she really nails to transport emotions :) helped through a lot of tough times
Thank you for your comment and insight! It's funny how sad songs sometimes actually help; it's a paradox I really didn't understand when I was younger listening to old country songs when I was heartbroken. Now I understand it. It's validation that your feelings are shared by others. Makes you feel like you're not on that island alone.
Watch Barbie! It’ll make sense 💕
It would be great if you showed the video on the screen of what you were looking at 😊
I wish I knew how to do that!! hahaha! I'll UA-cam it!
@@DJE-motion UA-cam how to do it on what you use to edit your videos. If you have Apple products, iMovie is fairly easy to use. If you don’t have Apple, you can UA-cam to see how else to do it lol
We're all still waiting to see if Billie can pull off a happy ending. She's been struggling, up and down, most of her life. But we still keep rooting for her.
Good luck with your channel.
Thank you!
Not all Billie Eilish songs are so sad and dark. The song My Future has a positive psychological message, and songs like Bad Guy and Bellyache were just made for fun.
Loved to see you're reaction!! Great video! I recomend ''Overdrive'' by Post Malone!
How cool, a therapist and DJ!❤ Yes she for sure goes to therapy. She has talked about it in interviews and even in songs like male fantasy. Her music talks about mental health a lot. Idontwannabeyouanymore, everything i wanted, listen before i go, your power, happier than ever and male fantasy for example
I've been a therapist for 20+ years; just started DJing as a hobbie which turned into a "side hustle." I love music soooo much! I sometimes just DJ for free. "Music is the pathway to the heart."
React to vampire (olivia rodrigo)
We need more Billie Eilish videos (react happier than ever pls)
Nice reaction - there isn't an official music video, but there is a video of Billie singing this live @ the STEVE JOBS Theater, December 19, 2019 [one day after her B.D. 12/18/2001]; it's on the Billlie Eilish channel. - she wrote this at 15 - somebody else pointed out that the BED PHOTO is cover for her first LP "When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go" and that title is from "BURY A FRIEND" lyrics - I would recommend the OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO - where she is singing about the monster under the bed or sleep paralysis . There is another song "idontwannabeyouanymore" written by 15 year old Billie on her BILLIE EILISH CHANNEL [official vertical video].
The picture you were talking about is not for this song. It's just the cover of her album. By the way this album (When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?" swept all 4 major Grammies. :-)
Oh, ok. There didn't seem to be an official video for the song; there was a live version of it though.
Yes please do more Billie! She has so much depth to her songs. I suggest "everything i wanted" next, it has an official music video too.
I'll do some different artists, but I'll circle back to Billie. Please subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks for your comment! Lisa
Hello! Could you rect to Lana Del Rey?
I'll put her on my list! Another artist I don't know. Looking forward to it.
After watching the documentary and seeing the process of making the songs on the album and how she felt about things happening in her life at such a young age is really interesting and worth watching
Billie's mother was worried about her putting this out. but they realized this can help young people who have the same thoughts. This is why Billie has such appeal to her audience, she's open and honest, not promoting..
There's an entire backstory to this song and its lyrics. It is covered touchingly in her real-life documentary film, "The World's a Little Blurry." In the film, she's assuring her very concerned mother that writing these lyrics is her way of processing suicidal thoughts.
I'll have to watch that documentary! Thanks for your insights! Lisa
TOO MUTCH TALK FOR NOTHING ! YOU ARE USELESS IN THIS MATTERS. Honestly You know and understand nothing !!! Se taire est la meilleure façon d'écouter ! Being silent is the best way to listen !
I guess everyone has an opinion. Thank you for sharing yours.
PLEASE STOP "STOPING" * THE SONG ! Your reactions are so good, pertinent and Joy full. But dont stop the song only enjoy it ! * Sorry for my English, I'm French !
Wouldn't that just be boring Though? Just watching my face with no commentary?
