Nice real life review. Im looking for something to transport drums one day and my family the next and currently looking at these.
How many tubes of sealant did you use?
Hi, can you please tell me how I can contact you? Looking to get this done on my transit courier. I also live in Jersey, thanks.
Quick question. Are the silver fixing brackets doubles that have been modified or can you buy single ones?
How much would a job like this cost? Thank you
Minimal tools used! Practical
We have Citroen berlingo for work hahaha what was I thinking, thé vehicle is a joy to drive until light came up satying theirs a blockage and it’s putting in onto limp mode, so I’m hoping it’s mane filters as my brothers mate ran the machine put the light out and it drone fine but not for long do tomorrow we will take it to our guy and then so ask him to give it thé once over, hope it’s oil filters and air dieters chocked up and hopefully not dps, but it it’s dps then it’s comming off
This is exactly what I would like to do to mine. Can I get in touch?
Good tip about the bolt length! Do you think if you wanted to add seats in the rear the bolt holes would already be in the floor? I know these vans have crew cab so must be built on the same chassis. . . . it’s just that the tank/ad blue tank are directly under the floor where the crew cab seats would go so no idea how you would install rear seats with that being there. Cheers
*crew cab versions
my question is, being on your third Birlingo, how many wheels have you changed?
Very helpful 👌
You didn’t show us taking it out? But good information.
yes, would love to see the cup holder change. Really patient and helpful review. Can you fit bikes in it without taking the wheels off?
Hi yes I can fit 2 small bikes for 6 and 5 year old but I think when I get the next size bike for the kids I’ll need to take the wheels off. The middle rear seat folds flat so you could get bigger bikes in but I don’t like to squeeze muddy bikes into the back of the wife’s new car.
@@jerseydaz2062 Thanks so much. Hope you are still enjoying the drive.
Hey! In one of your video’s you replaced the headliner of a T5 California. Good job! I am desperately searching where I can purchase a new liner as shown in the video. Can you please, please tell me where to buy this. Greetz, Don - The Netherlands
Hi I brought the headlining from the Vw dealer parts department
Oh and that radio, when the screen goes blank or freezes just keep your finger on the music logo on the left top corner of the screen bezel for about 30 seconds and it will reboot it
Hi, it’s only happened once luckily and nearly 2 years old now
Great review, you do know that Citroen moved the cup holders to both corners of the dash ? Much easier I think than central console
The cup holders were always in the dash so my previous Berlingo had 4 cup holders and this one only has 2. I have seen that the new facelift 2024 has gone back to 4 holders. Maybe Citroen watched my video 🤷♂️
Very informative, keep making content!
Thank you for your video. Really helpful!
Mein Auto hat Airbag geht's mit Tauschen
I bought a C4 Airdream - no spare supplied. I bought a new spare within a couple of days. Literally two days later, got a total blowout ! - I'd also bought a scissor jack at the same time. First time I tried to jack the car up to swap the blown wheel, the jack broke ! - A couple of passers-by helped me swap the wheels over. I discovered the blown tyre was riddled with cracks. Then found the other three tyres were also cracked all over and they'd all been painted over, and yet this car was bought from a main Citroen dealer ! - The puncture had wrecked the alloy wheel and the dealer replaced the wheel and all the other tyres, free of charge. This Airdream had replaced my old Picasso Czara but the Airdream's internal stowage space is minimal, unlike the Picasso's which had a wealth of compartments for stowing stuff. I have been considering moving to a Berlingo - But there's a bunch of downsides compared to my Airdream - The rear seats do not fold flat, despite claims I've read that they can fold flat. The Picasso rear seats could easily be removed, unlike the Airdream's and Berlingo's seats. The Berlingo needs Ad Blue - my Airdream doesn't need Ad Blue. It's also zero vehicle tax. Hence, the Berlingo has been removed from my list of possible replacements for the present car. The Airdream has been totally trouble-free, since its initial tyre saga. I'm generally very pleased with Citroen, but not sure what replace it with now. Age-wise, it's about time for replacement but I'm not sure how to go at this point.
Sounds like someone sold you a fucked car mate
Great review and tour of your Berlingo. Aren't the cupholders in the top of the dash now, above the side vents?
Yes they are in the dash so only have 2 my previous Berlingo had 4 cup holders
Hello I am doing this job tomorrow and wondering did you have to remove the adhesive holding the two skins? And then re stick the two skins of the van? Thanks!
Probably a bit late for you but I didn’t touch the bond and left it original
Do you have the name of the place you got the seats from?
I got them from eBay
Hiya - Thanks for the video great info and helps alot but what size trim is that please ? is it 17mm and does it need to be the heavy duty with metal inside ? Thanks in advance
Hi yes it is the jumbo trim with the metal U on the inside
How did you the cables?
Thanks for the help
Which engine and any comments on that plse
Good video this. I'm really interested in either a Berlingo/Rifter XL or maybe the larger Spacetourer - the only thing putting me off is lack of performance coming from a 270hp estate car! Its a shame the Berlingo is not available with the larger 2.0 HDi and EAT8 powertrain.
cup holders right in front of you
Christ buddy, that is tough work on the driveway, absolute slog. Thanks for the video. You made it look easy but definitely inspired me to get it done 👍
I can see on some of the brackets you actually used different nuts - is that an issue or not?
I used the original Vw nuts as they must be different for a reason and as it’s for seats I always go with original.
Please could you share where you got the window from? Thank you 🙏
Hi leisure vehicle windows in the Uk
Great stuff about the spare wheel in all a very good vidio top job
From where did you purchase the seat base ?
The owner of the van brought the seat off eBay and the base came with it
Hi. I’ve just bought a spare door that I’m going to swap the glass over. Did the tracker going the same? How was that fitted in? Im on about the part you took off that has rusted Cheers
Sorry for the late reply, you will find it very difficult to remove an original Vw window without damaging the drain channel
Hi looking doing the same what about seat belt it’s on opposite side are there threads on frame so you can swap seat buckle around see yours opsite side
The seat was from a RH drive van so nothing needed to be adjusted or adapted.
Can u do mine?
Hi, only if your in Jersey 🇯🇪
What type of trim do you use for the window, and what size??,also, can you share the name of the primer. Thanks.
I use all Wurh products for my window fitting
3k miles and the door has dropped and the stereo gone mad?
The door was badly adjusted from new, this has been rectified and the radio had an update when they serviced the car and it’s been ok since.
I really liked my Tempra Diesel but it was so loud it was embarrassing to start early in the morning as it would wake the whole street up. It was comfortable, economical and quirky.
What's the thread size on that bolts? And anyone has any ideea for the best way to fit seatbelts on the second row? The base side of the seatbelt has all nuts already there, but the top side is blank on medium lenght model
I have never welded before but am going to do a short course in MIG welding do you think id be able to do this to my jimny or should i practice a bit before going at it ?
Looks amazing. Can you share where you bought this?
Great review 👍
I have a 71 plate rip curl, last on the line, waited 10 months for her (Naomi) Not a fan of the break, my fear is failure, I have a dispatch with one of those yellow things, thanx for letting me know what its for, as for the repair kit, I tried it, Tyre was flat, completely useless, needless to say bought a spare and cage right away, and had it fitted, jack under seat in storage, we go to Scotland and really didn't want to break down. We have the modutop, something I really like, apart from the light it just white, I was expecting it to be rgb, Not keen on where the USB socket is, makes it a pain having a wire dangling down, I use an angle usb bracket which helps, my only regret was not having the mode selection for driving...the coin holder lol WOW! need to lift the rear mat to see If I have storage, had the car 2 years now and can't believe I didn't know it was there, although the car is in bed mode a lot...Boot jump.
16:15 I'm driving Citroen Xsara Picasso for the last 23 years and it's time to upgrade. Xsara has all displays above the steering wheel, in the middle of the cockpit. I've sat in Berlingo in the salon and I've done 1h test drive in similar Toyota ProAce City Verso and having 189cm I could not see all the icons on the dashboard through the wheel. I wonder if Rifter will be more similar to Xsara experience when I can see all of the dashboard without any issues and no matter how the steering wheel is rotated at the moment. Unfortunately, no nearby salon with Rifter to check it by myself. [EDITED] I've found Rifter and did a test drive. The shape of the wheel was a bit odd, not very ergonomical, but the display above the wheel was much better than in Toyota/Citroen for me. Yes, you lose one compartment there but I'm choosing Rifter to buy from all those clone family. It's also much nicer on the outside compared to strange and fancy Citroen.
Anyone know the size of the screws? Mine didn't come with anything in place
I’m on my fifth Berlingo, sadly it’s likely to my last as it now only available as an electric. My current one has the 130bhp diesel engine and the 8 speed auto box, a superb combination. I was fortunate in being able to specify a base model to which I only needed to add factory fitted reversing sensors. I’m not a car enthusiast and was more than happy in that it came with steel wheels, a proper hand brake and a radio that I can almost work. As with the other four it’s been no problem.
I’ve seen on the web you can now get diesel again
Hi I have a set I would like fitting what’s your location cheers
I’m in Jersey CI
Thanks for the great advice, ill save this video for the future
