Play 1-3 on the Broomfield then cut onto the Medal (1562) in the traditional manner.

As a young lad I lived in Milngavie, I used to play with a lad who lived at the main house at Milngavie Golf Club. About 100-200 yards away from the club house there was a spot we called "The Sandy Hole", a small swimming spot in the Allander River. Seems like so long ago, probably because it was.

Enjoy the videos guys. How do you feel Milngavie compares to Kirkintilloch? I’ve been a member at both, and currently the latter, but kind of swaying towards going back to Milngavie.

I grew up playing this course as a junior in the mid to late 80's. A decent wee course......but absolutely riddled with cheating youngsters in the junior section. I kid you not, if i told you some of the scores they turned in, you would think i was talking about scoring nine holes instead of 18. I joined the Thistle golf club (right next door to the Scoonie) not long after. :)

Great to see yous back guys. Really enjoy the vids. I could only manage 201 courses last year as I got injured mid November with cracked ribs. Itching to get back out there. Played Belleisle last year .first time since year 2000. It was brilliant back in the day but noticeably less money spent on it last year. Still decent though.

Played The bushes a lot over 30 years ago. Going there 22/9/22 so thought I would search the course and came across your video. Great crack lads, Subscribed now so keep up the good work. PS try Largs Golf club. My home course. It's a great challenge.

Loving the vids and the style. I just do my own thing with the vids under Smithy 100 Golf. Played Milngavie a few years ago in the summer before I started doing vids. It really was awesome .one of my favs in West of Scotland. Keep up the good work .maybe bump into you some day on the same course!

Hi update me and my dad had a go at the Texas scramble at Fullerton and we shot 69 so 3+ but our handicap is 8 so we shot nett : -5 and managed to get a few clips as well :)

Fantastic video guys. This video popped up on my suggested on youtube and as it turns out I am temporaily working as an assistant to the pro who you met that day. I'm a beginner golfer myself as of a few months ago. I have loved you're video, it really shows how you guys loved the course even though the greens have been cored. I hope you coped okay on the 6th or 15th on the Naemoor on that long par 4 which is the hardest hole on the course in my opinion. You should most definitely come back and play the cowden which wasn't played. The Cowden was the original 9 holes when the course first opened in 1908. It will be on rotation with the naemoor next month, and like you said there is no winter greens, only winter tees. (These are still not even in effect yet) :) Glad you enjoyed yourself :D
