    Nice setup. Great video. Nothing wrong with Ryobi. I had the cheaper 1/2" impact that I used for years and I used it heavily. But it needed the big 4ah to work. It would handle most fasteners except the most stubborn ones. It finally broke. Ive since upgraded to the brushless model using the newer HP batteries and its a beast. 2to3X the power. If it lasts as long as the old one Ill be happy. I also have a cheap amazon Ayoben 3/8 cordless ratchet that I use the crap out of. So far so good and a game changer for working on cars.

    I've seen other videos disconnect the negative terminal to the battery, others noted to drain the oil and coolant. Do you HAVE to do any of these? And did you just not recorded?

      I did not drain oil or coolant nor disconnect the battery. There is no need to do so as long as you don't turn the key on

    LOL! 1. There is a pin on on the driving pulley belt retentioner. It's painless taking the belt on/off. 2. You don't need to take off the Water Pump pulley. The are holes so you can access the water pump bolts. :)

      I did not find this to be true, at least the pulley part, but I appreciate the input!

    Did my 2015 Grand Cherokee 2 times, first time it was leaking oil, second time no leaks but the oil Pressure sensor went bad, so I put the aluminum one on too. I also replaced coils and Spark Plugs since I already had the intake off. Around my area this is a $800-$1000 job , easy money and plenty of leaking Pentastars on the road.

      With parts and labor total, it was around $500 for this customer. I'm glad to hear I gave her a good deal! Lol

    Hey bud what size is that axle nut?

    • @roadsidemechanic7048
      @roadsidemechanic7048 3 місяці тому

      I honestly have no idea, I have the axle nut socket set from harbor freight and all the sizes written on the sockets have faded off so I would just buy a axle nut socket set at harbor freight I think it's around $40

      Axle Nut are typically 30mm sockets.

      Zip ties to get the water pump pulley bolts off Make sure to use 3/8 wrench not 10mm on them they strip easily, also drop the engine an inch or 2 by loosening the engine mount bolts to get the water pump pulley off other than that some patience and your good maybe get a belt tensioner tool might help for getting the belt off

    I’d agree with the if you don’t know what your doin part, but how else does one learn, after research comes hands on. Tho I’ll admit that was a bad mistake 😂

    As a blind person this has helped a lot, driving by braille is hard enough with just the divider bumps.
