My chi yu always lived two hits from overpon but I do agree that getting the power whip or ivy cujel dmg at that point would have been better

moonblast sylveon was so smart because I almost ran throat chop ape. Its very difficult to bring multiple weak attack moves against an Ape that has rage fist. Hence why mono foul play was the best bet against me, and hydrapple having draco was the strongest move that can be used against my ape most of the time.

so the crit on avalugg definitely mattered, coz i was spdef avalugg :(( The para on gholdengo was also annoying coz I went for tbolt that turn. I was also very tilted so my plays did not have much thought into it towards the end loll.

I thought enamorus and iron hands was incredible here if it was some banded and specs set (pretty sure they were specs). Like Chris just needed to use his offensive threats earlier and better than he did.

Bakrys also landed two hydro pumps so 😂 and brought a maushold set that was completely walled by my gholdengo, so idk what else to say other than I think I prepped and played decently well until the crit turn :(

Also turn 19, if he went for fire punch and I attacked, I didn’t kill… and then he killed with the next fire punch. And then he sweeps me regardless. So I stand by my play to recover, but he got the crit which was the only way he takes me out there.

My answer to hawlucha WAS gholdengo and nothing else. I always lived a +6 fire punch under reflect so recover was always my play. So the crit was definitely the only thing beating me in that situation.

Week 5 shakes up the standings a lot because a lot of teams with the same record go against each other.

Tbh this strategy only works when 1) my opponent doesn't know my first playstyle 2) when my defensive MU is better than my offensive one Gray had a better MU and knew my playstyle hence why he was able to pull out the win, because he's played me before multiple times.

I will also like to say, the Azumarill was supposed to be my chien pao answer.... but it never came out because Avalugg surprised me and dealt with chien pao instead LOL.

So Dragalge actually gets shadowball, and I was very worried about specs shadow ball which is why I put it as the second biggest threat (only if it was specs) after chien pao ofc.
