I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. I have been working in a special needs preschool classroom for the past four years. Prior to that, I was a Head Start teacher with special needs and at-risk students for 5 years. My passion is teaching children with Autism and other developmental delays. My students range from a developmental age of 5 months to 5 years with significant impairments in communication, socialization and cognitive and adaptive skills. (Their chronological ages range from 3 to 6 years.)

I’m going into my third year teaching structured PreK. Are those towels to cover your shelves when not in use, or did you sew curtains?

Wow so nice
Do you have a link to the sheet your pointing at? I would like to print it out for home use.
How do you structure your visual support? You have several different activities but seem to have all the verbs and nouns you need. Thanks.
What app are you using for the oice button? Also is there a correlation between the book or something on the app. It's a little hard to hear and see your visual for the student knowing their turn.
Great video. Your class is very organized. I look forward to viewing your other videos.

WHO SING THE GOOD MORNING SONG?
Fuck es1 🙏🏿 8 class
The thing I don't like with this is that she hands everything to him. He tried to pick up the shapes himself, but she took that away from him and did it herself. I just think that reinforces children to think that everything will be handed to them...
Thank you so much.
I love that the scaffolding technique is used to extend the levels in the lessons.
I've been watching your videos & I'm wondering what type of a classroom these are being modeled for? One adult & 2 kids? Also are the kids in the video actually preschool age or are they older children you have permission to video tape ? The girl especially looks older. I don't mean to be negative but anyone can model strategies with two, possibly older, children & have them work but they are not realistic for 20 3-5 year old children with 2 teachers. Also when you say things in the videos the children do them immediately, most people with students that just do what they are told aren't looking for videos on strategies.
This is a nice video.
You are awesome!!!!!!!
You are great,amazing.
