the anenji inverter draws aprox. 40w all the time from grid in SBU mode (probably it's self consumption); with the AC-IN breaker off the self consumption is drawn from the battery. can it be set up to only take from battery in SBU mode ?
I believe so. If I remember rightly SOL Takes from solar first then battery but no utility
lol ead boring lol. subject lolol
Yeah I warned people it was boring 😂😂
@@sun-sea-solar thing is it wasnt at all. ahhh. i found that comment so humorous in the video..
@andrievbastichy8551 it's just over complicated in a lot of videos. So I tried the simple approach
dang 3 years too late.. and like 200 videos in a search..lmao. thanks bro for this video!
No worries. Hope it helps
Side by side but if you can set the bottom one upwards
Probably better to stick the battery on the top rather than the bottom. But Bluetti has a photo showing the b300k on the bottom and the right way round
How did you fix this? I have a EASUN SMV III 3KW that I after 3 years of constant use noticed wasn't grounded at all.
I was struggling with this unit. The hybrid inverter from this company was a particular problem for me. They are designed to have a floating neutral because they are not ment to connected to the grid
@@sun-sea-solar Mine has a "AC IN / AC OUT + battery + PV input" setup. I live in sweden and im seeing a 115 volts between my "neutral OUT" and "case ground", and I assumed this meant the unit doesn't ground at all. Been reading around on the Diysolarforum for solutions but I'm hesitant to simply mess around trying to bond the neutral and ground or the neutral to neutral. Did you just end up leaving your easun as it was?
@maxlund2185 ua-cam.com/video/JCsRLrbXOUY/v-deo.htmlsi=MhtgMboTGNp9xQ1w. This may help you
@maxlund2185 fast forward to 3min40 for the potential fix
Victron is the best .
@SaviraAsiana it is very good equipment. Unfortunately in my situation and power needs out of my budget.
Do the fans continue to operate even when there is no load?
@@mrwallop6884 yes. Under no load the fans still run. But quietly
So you need a few power packs to use that amount of energy stored
If you were building a system from scratch. My system is well over 20,000 wh now
@@sun-sea-solar Sheeeeeeeed! how you manage that though? i mean they always say try to get batteries all at 1 time. to avoid differences.
@andrievbastichy8551 a few companies have interchangeable batteries. Different cables etc but ideally get them all at the same time
👍👍
If you want to become a successful creator, start by actually doing what you say your videos are about.
That's good advice. Normally with the portable power station I just take the shell off. That's about as much as they need. So people can see the internals.
@@stewartmackay to be honest. I did say COMING SOON.
I have depended on diesel generators for quite some time. Residing in a rural area, we often experience power cuts, particularly during strong winds, at which point I activate the diesel engine. However, I am still exploring a solar 48V system. What would the equivalent be for these power stations? Would they utilise a 48-volt battery, or would it simply be a 12-volt system?👍👍
@@golddetector01 nearly all of the 2000wh and over are 48v systems. I'm actually installing a new portable generator setup in a friend's next weekend. He's had 4 black in 6 months. But with these systems people need to understand the realistic run time. 80-85 % efficiency is about normal. So whatever the size of the battery remember to factor in that 20% loss
@@golddetector01 the majority of all in one setups the additional plug and play battery is between £800-£1300 depending on make and size. The equivalent 48v dumb battery is about £350 but you are paying extra because of the safety and simplicity of a plug and play
@@golddetector01 on this occasion I probably ran more things than a normal black out, so it was a little unfair but 2048wh expansion battery gives you around 3 hours of runtime. If that helps
@@sun-sea-solar I'm considering whether these portable power stations might be a better option than acquiring a large battery bank, potentially even two. Most sellers offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, which allows for a trial period. I have already purchased ten 440W solar panels, ready to be positioned on the ground. 😀👍
What would be the maximum load you'd need to run ?
How manyof these can be put in parallel
From their website they say 4 but I don't see any reason why you couldn't do 6
It seem a good Machine the cable is a 8m for goal zero and jackery connections
@@DouglasNewson so far impressive. My only thing I don't like is the older style Anderson cable
ANENJI POWER Store 11KW WARNING/SCAM: in black Friday day I purchase two of them but none of them arrived, AliExpress tracking show was delivered in unknow location somewhere in eastern Quebec area. I wish I can upload the fake tracking photos here. so please to all viewers make sure you read all the reviews real buyers reviews not cross flatform reviews because that was a fake review, before you buy this products.
I've also been scammed by AliExpress which is why I would never buy from them
@sun-sea-solar Yes lessons learned, even Aliexpress knows but they don't take it seriously, I reported this incident but until now ANENJI POWER STORE, still advertising there's fake products with sales. I hope these comments helped someone to plan to buy their product.
I can’t even see what brand it is?
It's a test unit. I'm doing a follow up video
@ I see
Yes
They work ok for me 👍
My one works fine
@troybooth4361 for the price I've been impressed
Currently, the prospect of battery storage certainly gives me cause for reflection concerning the installation of a solar system with a 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery priced at £399.99.
@@golddetector01 if you could take one single peace of advice from me and avoid a lot of wasted money. (Which happened to me) Just go straight for 48v battery. Will save you in the long run. 100ah 48v battery will cost around £600-£800
@@golddetector01 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395643714824?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=jbpowehhsbu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=AA5w-Q6ZTSO&var=664514788907&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY These are ok.
@@sun-sea-solar I genuinely appreciate the advice; it is certainly a case of learning from the errors of others.👍👍
Unfortunately I didn't listen to people at the beginning. Went down the 12v, 24v and finally now 48v.
@@sun-sea-solar what do you think if i was to go for 4 12v 100ah at 400 dollars vs the single 48v?
👍👍
I am currently looking for a reliable inverter for home use, yet it seems that most only offer a one-year warranty. This strikes me as quite risky, given that such an investment could amount to around £400 to £500. Do you have any insights or recommendations? Thank you.👍👍
@@golddetector01 these Anenji inverters are quite reliable at about £250 I had the 24v and 48v version but couldn't comment how many years it would last
@@sun-sea-solar Thank you, I am currently reviewing a few options, and they seem to provide good value for money. I believe the electricity savings during the summer could offset the cost, but one of my primary concerns is the uncertainty regarding power supply, particularly if we were to become involved in any conflict with Russia. Perhaps I am overreacting.😀
@golddetector01 this hybrid inverter allows me to also charge all my batteries through the night on cheap rate electric. I do think it's cheaper now to purchase panels, batteries and inverters. It good to have a plan B. I'll be posting my savings over the last 2 years.
@@sun-sea-solar I acquired six 150 W solar panels at a car boot sale, and I reckon I paid about £20 each. Prior to purchasing, the seller tested them with a meter to confirm they were working properly. If you don’t mind me asking, which hybrid solar inverter are you currently using, and do you have any recommendations on where to purchase one?
@golddetector01 unfortunately the hybrid 48v have a large solar input. Minimum 150v-450v your 6 panels in series would only give you the minimum voltage. Probably around 140v and only 150w. Go to city plumbing websites. 410w panels £57
do the fans work all the time ? for example at night with a small load of 200w and no pv input ?
Unfortunately the fans are on all the time. But at 200w is very quiet
I think as long as people get a good discount and they are aware of some the flaws with these units. They are ok
@obeOG-c7t although the 24v version was silent if no load or PV input
I'd be surprised if a tradesman installed something that they hadn't supplied themselves. Several reasons, firstly the obvious trade discount & mark-up, secondly, if something goes wrong, who takes the rap, thirdly, if it is unfamiliar equipment, then there is additional risk for the installer. Fourthly, for inverters and batteries, usually the installer needs to be certified with that particular equipment to get the warranty & to get the manufacturer to activate it within their cloud services. Panels are simple though, so shouldn't have a learning curve, and there is no on-boarding process with panels. So it'd mainly be the first two factors.
That's been the general opinion of all the installers that I've contacted. Basically they don't want to lose the profit on the panels. Despite losing profits on the rest of the job. They would prefer to lose out on the whole job. With regards the warranty. In the 2 years I've had my own panels in a ground array I've never had one single issue. When you start looking at optimisers and micro inverters then you're asking for trouble.
Same experience, makes NO sense to hire "professionals" for an boff grid system of your can do most of the installation yourself
I got one for £679 after heavy research as well. It's a great unit so far. Love that it runs a diesel heater due to the 12V/25A outlet it has
Very impressive so far. The xt60 DC out is far superior to the old style cigarette lighters. I hope they ditch that idea for , 12v fridges
Nice to see someone having a good experience with cheaper units
No.
@@astone2893 haven't found one company yet 😂
I had a garage repair shop years ago. I often had people say - how much to fit XYZ ? - My answer was - are you supplying the parts - if so the fitting cost is double. Why? Because if / when the cheaper item failed they wanted me to fix it under warantee - hence the extra fee. So, sourcing the panels at a cheaper cost is OK but that voids any warrantee on the installers work. He/she will not accept any falts of failures so it could be a costly job to get someone back to fix a faulty panel. Just my opinion but something to be considered.
Totally understand that. But these are the exact same panels the companies are buying!! Same brand, even the same supplier
@@sun-sea-solar totally agree they will probably be absolutely fine. Just ask them to warantee their part of the instal. Any installer worth their salt would do that.
@@PaulRansonArt appreciate the comments. Had a few interesting opinions already. Nice to read comments from both sides
You also have other aspects of compatibility and configuration, fixing etc.
@rosslomath after lots of phone calls I do agree most of the installers. It was more trying to educate people that the cost of solar equipment isn't always straight forward and I hope they do their own research before accepting quotes.
They like to make a profit on the panels and the installation they probably buy the panels cheaper than you anyway. like garages. Garage charge you for the parts with a massive mark up when I was after a clutch for my van Euro parts quoted me about £300 When I said had cheaper quote, they said we’ll match it. I think Moto mania quoted me £200 I bought it off eBay £80. ❤
@@martprice7726 thanks for the comments. It is a big difference in price. So far no one has taken the job.
It has opened up a can of worms with all the companies I've contacted. MCS CERTIFIED is not even a legal requirement. But it is needed for a feed in tariffs 😭
That sorta pricing is absolutely adsurd to be honest
@@abdulmalikyakubu3045 unfortunately I'm not getting very far. Most of the companies are saying a point blank no.
@sun-sea-solar you might just end up having to DIY the whole thing if you have the time, and I thought it was expensive in my country🤦♂️
@@abdulmalikyakubu3045 extremely high mark up on equipment unless you know where to look 😉
@@sun-sea-solar well I hope you can find a better deal or at least you are able to get a company not trying to legally rob you
Just have to wait and see. Could be interesting journey
I bought a Yinleader 1500w?3000w inverter recently and the Amazon ad made it clear what the inverter was capable of. If you saw 3000w and thought that was what it could produce, fool you. If you're not an electrician you need to do some research, learn more about what your requirements are. I didn't think there was any false advertising, even the 1500w output stated it was only possible with increased input.
Even if the large number was the surge or peak it's still not going to hit anywhere near that. Considering I've built a successful 48v 20kwh off-grid system. Calling me a fool is a bit strong. Yes it false advertising. If he doesn't even hit the minimum output then it's false advertising plan and simple. They all do it.

The savings already since the 4th December has been nothing short of amazing. Simple idea charge battery on cheap rate use that during the day. But I think their standing charge of 43p is a game changer for a lot of people
Thank god I had a gas cooker when it took a week to get electric after the storm Darrah, solar wind and electric became useless for hundreds of thousands. Never forget to have backup energy systems in the uk ;like stoves ,open fires , gas and candles , thousands have seen the error of their ways falling for the electric scam to replace well trusted forms of energy.
Sounds like you had a nightmare. Was lucky down here, couple of broken fence panels and snapped a bracket holding down a solar panel. But I would of preferred to be totally self sufficient.
