Once upon a time, I received a gift that I would cherish all my life. I was hired by Mike Zigarelli to work in Newark's premier record shop, Melody Record Shops. I then went to work for Mike's son, Jimmy Zigarelli, in the Irvington N.J. Melody Record Shop location, It was there that I learned the business side of a Record Shop. But the best part of my time there, was when Jimmy purchased two Technics turntables and a mixer so I could sell more records to DJ's. At that moment, my life changed. Thanks Jimmy.
