COVID, The NorthEast Line got a major maintenance blitz to fix mud holes, Wangaratta is currently being redeveloped as art of Inland Rail, and the footbridge this was taken from is nearing its demolition date..

Nice video of the XPT departing Wangaratta Station. Your daughter talking over the video and your reaction was amusing. At least she waited until after the initial `notching up' 😁😁 I have to say you appear to be doing a great job of raising your daughter, she's so spontaneous & happy. Note the 3 lads also watching from the footbridge; one of them waves presumably to the friendly driver.

Thanks Bernie. It's a whole new skill that still needs a bit of work to improve. I will be back in NZ for family in July, just not sure if I will have much free time for the hobby.

Just out of curiosity, there is a bike path underneath the bridge, were there any stop barricades up at the time of crossing?
Nothing, which I was surprised at given they had traffic management stopping Rowan Street whilst they passed over top.

Nice one, the GoPro does a good job. I'm not sure if its just me, but is the video a bit "jumpy"? I have had this on some of my videos. I think the solution is to ensure the track you use in the video editor is set up at the same frames per second that you recorded with...should make it smoother. Someone with more knowledge than me might be able to correct me if I'm wrong.

No worries, it was annoying the heck out of me when it was happening to me, and I thought it might be my UA-cam or browser or something, as I think it can play up when running 1080/60fps. My latest videos have been much smoother since aligning the frame rate.
