I don't wanna go to work... but i don't know what else i should be doing
Great video. Please review Romo AI. Worth buying or not
I fcking love this software
great
ok now got my lovely matrix, what next?
You can use your literature matrix to understand how existing articles have conducted their experiments studies. Understanding what they have achieved can help you to identify knowledge gaps which you can fill with your own research. Literature synthesis matrix' are also a fantastic resource for writing a literature review, as all the pertinent information will be in one document. I hope this helps!
ok, so are we saying if a paper hasn't got a comparative analysis section its better to find one that has?
It is an indication that the author has not considered previous literature, but it is still worthwhile reviewing the other flashcard sections, as there can still be useful information about the study they conducted. You will just find less information about how this article relates to the surrounding literature.
hi, What's going on? when I click on newest first the bottom line says Pub Date (ask), I don't seem to be able to scroll any lower to anything underneath that
sorted now-found it!
where can I find the button at the top move/export/delete- I haven't got one?
Hello! Thanks for getting in touch. You can find the select button at the top of your page, which will bring up the option to select an individual, or a collection of flashcards. You can then use the organise, export, or delete buttons as shown in the tutorial. I hope this helps!
The there’s chat scholars
I have failed to export the synthesis matrix because it doesnt bring the option of export for a whole file
Hi, we have updated the interface, you can select the items first and then the export options will appear. We have an updated video here: ua-cam.com/video/FCTF7tLU6GI/v-deo.html
Hey! I’m starting to summarise articles for a review paper. I don’t know how to start and it is overwhelming. Could you please give me some tips and recommendations? Your help is much appreciated. !!

Wish I’d had this software sooner!
Huge help!
That's great to hear!
thanks a lot
You're very welcome! Let us know if there is anything you'd like to see any further tutorials on
thank you for your video,, can I associate my notes with a particular part of the text ? can I make my own highlight as well?
Your notes will be separate of any flashcard sections, but we are working on adding the ability to attach notes and highlights in the future. If you head to your profile, then scroll down to Other Features, you can reactivate the hypothesis integration, which will allow you to highlight the text in your flashcards.
Thanks for the videos. One problem, your volume is very low.
Thank you for the feedback @jeffk8900 - We will bare this in mind for future videos
Thanks for the tips. I am trying to make Scholarcy a more useful part of my research actions. I do wish that there was a way to select the fields that would appear in the Excel printout.
Hey @nitsua803 We have a video explaining how to edit the export option, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/8QbqU7hBnSg/v-deo.html
@@scholarcy My apoligies. I probably did not clearly state my suggestion/wish. I am very familiar with the approach you described, but it does not satisfy my question. When I export my flashcards to Excel, the resulting spreadsheet has 25 columns, from "filename" to "notes." My request was for a way to limit the columns to 5 or 6 specific column types. At this point, scholarcy does not allow this adjustment.
@@nitsua803 Thank you for your reply! At the moment this cannot be changed, would a less information dense excel output benefit you? The current export is designed so that multiple research articles can be compared with each other easily.
@@scholarcy I don't need 25 columns to create a synthesis matrix. This is superfluous. I suppose I will continue to hide or delete unnecessary columns. Thanks for your response.
In my scholarcy, the figure can't show up? How to solve it. Thank you
Hi there, you can enable figure extraction by going to Settings > Import, and sliding the Extract figures slider to the right.
Great video! I've been using ChatGPT and find it an excellent tool for initial research and gathering background information. However, as you've pointed out, verifying the information provided is crucial, especially regarding academic research. Integrating Scholarcy as a plugin with ChatGPT could be a game-changer. It would allow users to automatically verify the content and references provided by the AI, ensuring the information aligns with the latest research findings. This would not only enhance the reliability of the information but also save users valuable time in cross-verifying the data. I am looking forward to seeing this integration in the future.
It would be so awesome to have a chat gpt plugin that does that automatically!
Thank you for confirming what I was thinking about the other day 👍🏽
hey man i hope you can tell me what theme is this
Hello! It's the 'Blue Topaz' theme. It says it is a 'Legacy' theme - maybe they discontinued it now?
can i make lit matrix in free version?
Hi Maria, this is a Scholarcy Library feature, which is a paid product - we have a 14 day free trial
Can you please share an excel template for producing a literature matrix?
Hi Anand, Scholarcy generates the template automatically as part of the export, but if you want to create your own, the link to Stephen McQuilliam's tutorial is in the video description and also here: ua-cam.com/video/Y40Wy1guAiQ/v-deo.html
