Ipswich Recycling
Few months ago now I was in the suburb of Springfield going around finding which trucks were in the area. After hours of not finding shit I then came across recycling which was one of the new Series 6 Spack Volvos. When I filmed this back in early 2023 this was like it’s 7th day out.
Ipswich still have some of the old Dennis’s but only get used for Chopout and Spare’s now. I have managed to film all the recycling bodies which I am happy to have.

New to this year Brisbane now have 10 Elite 6 Dennis’s which are used for Green Waste but some trucks get used for Garbage and Recycling as shown in this video. Logan Chopout - Ex Moreton Bay

A few months ago back in September 2023 I managed to find one of the spare trucks out at work on a Friday afternoon. I was going up street’s seeing what was done and what wasn’t, 10 minutes later this truck came outta no where and started collecting. Thanks to the driver for letting me film the last few bins of the run. Cheers.

Today’s we see 01485 in Waterford West on a bunch of unit complexes on a Thursday. I actually didn’t know how many bins there were until I drove down the street it took the garbo over an hour just to do this one street. It was definitely cool to watch all these bins get collected i also got recycling which will get uploaded at some point.

This is an excellent video with amazing camera positioning and angles, especially the last clip shot from a "ground" angle. I like the way this operator deals with the poor spacing bin lines, which some would say was too slow. I found it quite satisfying to watch, and I admire the drivers skill with using his mirrors.
