Yeah. Expecting a hand held console to have power of a PS5 is just stupid. And since the display is much smaller than a gaming monitor or a high end TV that people buy for their PS5's, it just makes the power not a factor. As long as the games can run smoothly and the battery can last for a long time, we are good .

Thankfully Nintendo is carrying the torch (along with some indies) for art design and fun gameplay and not trapped chasing "realism" which is a dead-end of overly-expensive boredom. What Nintendo can do with "last-gen" will be a lot more creative visually than what last-gen did in AAA-land.

I think if Blizzard takes the time and money to try to compete with Marvel Rivals, then Overwatch could make a comeback. At the end of the day, competition is healthy, anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. But they have a lot of work to do to bring people back, and I'm not sure Blizzard will be willing to do it.

I have a DS lite and DSi XL. I love the smaller compact size, it’s a handheld after all. I can leave it in the car and chuck it in a bag and take away where ever I go. The DSi XL I use at home, main reason for the XL is my eye sight now I’m 50, it’s easier to use without glasses otherwise I’d probably have just got the standard size. Funnily enough I will be able to test your theory as my daughters ds lite screen is broken so I just brought her a dsi off ebay for £40. Will see what it’s like when it arrives although I imagine my eye sight reason still stands.

Marvel Rivals just sucked up all the casual players OW2 already jettisoned when it smothered OW1 with a pillow and took its place. As a complete casual, OW2 has absolutely nothing going for it that encourages me to return. I'd rather chew glass than grind out the newest character or the wins needed for the previous ones. Not to mention the extra hurdle of the seething hatred I now feel towards OW2.

Blizzard still keeps Heroes of the Storm alive and even updates it with balance patches every now and then, so it's safe to say Overwatch will only truly die if Blizzard itself goes under. However it's also an undeniable fact that Marvel Rivals is taking market share from Overwatch (at least for the moment)

Tbh overwatch was already dying. Then they killed themself with OW2. If anything Marvel Rivals could be the wake up call for them to actually fix the game and make things better for everyone.

Calling it a clone or close to a clone is so disingenuous and foolish. This is the sequel we deserved. It takes inspiration obviously but clone is such a shallow way to describe it. On average every character has 3 whole new aspects to a kit on top of what few abilities overwatch they overwatch had. Just like overwatch ADAPTED from TF2. Quit calling shit a clone, if just taking inspiration from a game makes it a clone then every over the shoulder TPS is a resident evil 4 clone.

honestly marvel ip is the least of rivals' strength. we are at a stage in which people know marvel, but its not 2019 with endgame anymore. ow2 at it's core is the same good game it was 8 years ago, but some bafflingly pointless changes and complete inability to hear the player base's demands just turned everyone off. we've been looking for overwatch alternatives for the better part of two years now, and honestly concord may have even stood a chance if it didn't look heinous and wasn't 40 bucks. netease was just smart enough to capitalize off of this in a meaningful way. furthermore, they are a billion dollar megacorp with deep involvement in the gaming scene, so it's just a recipe for success.

Blizzard does not care for the hard core gamer anymore because the target market of average lame players is HUGE.

Corporate greed and and general incompetence from the dev team is what killed overwatch and that started far before overwatch 2.

Something about Riot and their new direction that you need to understand for the 2 seasons to make sense is that they do not care about dumping money into something even if it doesn't return a profit immediately. First of all, they have a MMORPG in the making that the release date hasn't been announced. They have a lot of story to tell and a lot of lore to clean up before that comes out. You don't need to like League of Legends to end up loving the franchise and the lore that surrounds it. Riot intends to likely make their money back by developing a true fan base around the lore, history, characters of their universe and I think they are setting the stage to take the throne that Blizzard used to hold and has since been left empty. Second of all, if you haven't watched Necrit's videos on the lore, you really need to. The recent stuff he has put out talks about the lore in depth and can kind of give you a taste as to what is likely to come. Things that you may have missed in Arcane because you were likely not familiar with the messaging that was talked about or animated will shine a light and open up the possibilities of what they are going to talk about. I'm not sure entirely but I could see a lot of people having issues with the hinting of the black rose towards the end being unsatisfactory, like a convenient antagonist force towards the end to cause suspense. They are going to be a jumping off point for future shows taking place in different regions of the world. We are likely to get multiple seasons of multiple shows showcasing the lore of all of the characters that inhabit them and I think you're going to fall in love with them just like you did Arcane. Thanks for enjoying something I've been a fan of for over a decade. It is so cool to see new people come into the fold without the need for playing a toxic and time-consuming game.

Great video on Arcane! I love the series, and prefer animated shows over live action. For me, it's the best western animated show I've ever seen, and I already love Avatar: the Last Airbender, Gravity Falls, and Gargoyles (S1 & S2) as well. ^_^
