Tremko Alaska
United States
Приєднався 21 гру 2019
Debbie and Dave sold their home in Arlington Washington, packed up and moved to Alaska. To a small community named Slana on the copper river. Chainsaw art is their semi-retired hobby and a way to create not only video content but merchandise for their new website that is currently under construction. Hunting, fishing, hiking and ATV riding and just exploring Alaska with sprocket their adopted city dog who has been set free of his collar and lead. After uploading his first video on UA-cam 13 years ago in the pre-Google era under the username dtremko Dave decided to get a GoPro camera just to VLOG our remaining days as so many of our friends have passed away with nary a trace of their lives left today. Now on with the fun creating art and learning to be a "UA-camr"!

Part 1 of Scott and Alicia build a home. Scott and Alicia decided they would leave their city in Alaska for the wilderness of Wrangel- St. Elias national Park. Follow the approximately tow week projected timeline here. Better hurry guys, Scott's brother Tim and family are here to help with one of their specialties, a 16 by 32 home in two weeks!
My dome project, and some drone stuff.

This 2022 Subaru Outback has no heater fan function when in cold temperatures. My friend Jim needs to know if anyone has info to maybe jerry rig this simple function because as he will explain even after the car has been warmed up and fully up to oil and coolant temp, the fan won't come on. Thanks in advance if some one has a fix, especially Kendall Subaru in Fairbanks Alaska (the dealership ca...

Flying two drones while getting a log delivery
A couple of people building homes this summer. Very cool!
Those Ukrainian drone are similar.
Hello Friend. So how do you like these engines? Do they really pull 4 kilos?
These motor rock! In this video I had just built the drone and the PID tune was WAY off. It had wobbles, and throbles and handled like crap. UAVTech UA-cam channel helped me tune it very well. Makes horrifying loud noises, my neighbors hate it
@@tremkoalaska5543 It will be very interesting for me to see how it flies.
Hey. Yess this motors is sick. My drone is 1720 grams with 6s2p li-on Molicel p42. I put the 4kg under drone. And it’s flying amazing. 55% throttle and 40A on 60km/h +-
@@climberniki Hello! Are your engines 900 or 580 kv? What propellers are you using? How much do they overheat?

omg this is awesome! and the florida guys are complaining about skeeters.. LOL
Love these dogs!
Awesome dude!!!
Thanks!!

awesome video- :)
Thanks 😀
Also, the Subaru dealer in Anchorage. It’s ridiculous what they are doing to them! Just flipping fix it!
You are having more fun than legally allow up there!
Congratulations to the Beautiful couple. Thank you for sharing your day with the community of Slana, Alaska.
This is a very beautiful location and nice flying!
Ooo that farm do be looking nice over there ❤
That zippy is a killer! Great video, I thought I was the only one who did this . m.ua-cam.com/video/dtIhZl6QM0Y/v-deo.html
Go Craig! Beat that fish!
I would love to see you do an owl 🦉
I have been on that trail a few times!
The bear looks great! Debbie is so talented. Love Sprocket!
omg Dave I felt like I was watching the pain Olympics.
The worst part is that there is a native corporation with a dentist an hour away but they only serve their tribe, athabaskan, I am Aleut and not covered by their insurance. $350 per tooth at the regular dentist so I just manned up. Here's a video of the tooth I pulled last year, I can say that the front upper hurt WAY more than this lower front.---->ua-cam.com/video/sCjSOeX8vAM/v-deo.html
@@tremkoalaska5543 you know who this is right. its josh from glennallen
@@jvarra05 I must admit I just now learned your last name. Alice is looking for someone to shovel the foot of snow off their roof. Kristian broughtt Sandy over there because "he's the only one willing" but I doubt that druggie will. Good to cross digital paths
I went to Dr. Tremko to have a cavity drilled. He ended up pulling the tooth and I've been in severe pain ever since! He didn't even give me a prescription for pain killers, just a case of beer! GO TO ANOTHER DENTIST. 2/5 STARS.
Ouch! I bet there’s a trip to a licensed dentist in the very near future!
Well that's one way to do it. Next time try a quad instead of the hammer. Full throttle punch out with a 6s should do the trick. Happy new year!
nice landing !
Hahahahaah! We grow em big up here ;)
That was fucking cool
Beautiful work! I especially admire your ability to make your art indoors in the cold. I'm a fair weather carver, only carving from spring to fall. The winter always keeps me waiting for the warmth to start again.
we have 7 months of winter here, inside is the way to go
Awesome sauce. This on your way to Copper Lake?
Thanks Kristi, yes you can see part of the lake in distance
Awesome Dave! Glad to see you posting again!
Thank you! I lost my camera on a drone while fishing last year and just recently got a new one. I also order a Insta360 X2 so stay tuned
I love bird watching up here ♡
Brother this was Epic That Flounder was Huge
Pacific halibut. They get over 400 pounds so mine was a baby, still yummy and fun
Congrats Brother on that 100 Subs I asked Some to Sub Ya Beautiful Footy Brother
Thank you and thank you!!!! Last year I had one quad and no experience , this year 7 quads and balls
Omg the view is breathtaking! One day I will be there for a visit!
Thank you!! Don't wait, the way the world is changing you may want to move. Come fly the northland, we have a guest house, not a guest cabin a full on 2 bedroom guest house on 5 acres. If you watch my video "Haulin butt" it is the house at the far end of our runway with the airplane
@@tremkoalaska5543 omg that sounds amazing! You’re very true about the way the world is changing, it’s scary!
Man, what GREAT footage! Amazing views!
We are fair weather fishermen only and as you see the water was flat like a board. You should send Nathan fishing sometime, will elaborate when you come for dinner soon
Awesome!!! Takes some balls flying over ocean like that!!!
Thanks. Last year I had only one quad and was sick to stomach worrying about a crash. This year I have 7 quads and more skill, hardly worrying at all.
Gotta catch up on my Tremko TV
looks amazing my friend!
Thanks man. I am 15 months into FPV and gaining confidence. Last year I flew over water with 3 months experience and only one quad, man was it stressful then. I have 7 quads now and build/repair skills so stress was not present
Hey, thanks for commenting on my video too, what kind of quad is that? What do you normally fly? I got into freestyle/racing quads for a while, now that I'm close to retirement, I'm doing more photo drones again for a side job to stay busy. Just got a DJI S1000 octocopter, and haven't flown it yet, still have to learn how to use Inav and study up on all the features. It's a heavy lifter that can lift up to 18lbs, if you take the camera off. Zenmuse gimbal and two controllers if you want someone to independently work the camera. I'm pretty intimidated by it, never flown anything this big! LOL, You have any experience with Inav? or the DJI A2 firmware/software stuff?
Thanks back. I have 1 year into FPV. I bought a Armattan badger BNF for first quad, now my daily beater quad (I can't believe it has survived over 100 crashes without breaking anything but props). Then I bought a CMW 7 inch BangGod BNF (awesome but heavy and mild) Then I built 3 of these drones like the mosquito which are a 7 inch Armattan chameleon frame, Hobbywing 60 amp stack,1500 mah 6S, BrotherHobby 2810/1500 kv and gem fan 7040 props. These quads outfly my ability so I pretty much just rip around above the trees. I'm 55 and semi retired but will NOT be spending that kind of dough you invested, wow! My new love is the ciniwhoop. I used the same 60 amp Hobbywing stack, FPV cycle 2203/3450kv in the diatonic taycan frame and run 4s. Post vid when you fly that huge octo
@@tremkoalaska5543...Yeah I love cine whoops, got a iFlight MegaBee with the DJI air unit over the winter, but I'm upgrading the motors and ducts right now, so I haven't gotten to fly it much. Oh and me buying the S1000 octo, never planned on it in a million years. But a guy from Kentucky, had a used one only flown once that he built for a doctor in his town who got cancer and passed away unfortunately, shortly after he delivered all of it to the doctor. Widow didn't want it and had him take it back and she refused the money and said she had plenty and for him to sell it. Fast forward 3-4yrs he has to move due to a divorce and needs to sell it ASAP. He happened to be driving through Missouri the next week,,so he dropped it off for me, along with 4 huge boxes of stuff the doctor had ordered. The drone is in a Pelican hard case which I looked up costs about $750, zenmuse gimbal ($400) a Pentax DSLR K-3 camera ($950) aftermarket zoom lens ($1000) 2 ($400) chargers 3($200) quad chargers, couple of power units, just tons of accessories. Anyway, I added it all up. Without the actual drone everything else was worth appx 10k, then the S1000 used goes for 3k-4K. The guy sold the whole kit-n-kabootle to me for $4200!!! I couldn't pass it up, I borrowed a few bucks from a family member just to scrape it all together. Selling just a handful of things there was two of I've made half of what I paid for it back already. It'll be a game changer for my business when I get it up n running. Plus even though I retired from fire dept. I still volunteer a little with my local fire dept search n rescue team, and I want to set up the S1000 as a lighting rig too, found a crazy bright light these guys made in their garage, and is now a company, but the light takes a 6S 7000mah battery to get the best result. so it needs a heavy lifter to use it. Ill shoot you some footage when I get it up and going!
@@tremkoalaska5543...Here's a video of the light I got for search n rescue. I might get a second one since the S1000 can lift so much weight. This is an early version when they were still testing it. ua-cam.com/video/hvDXjC-_7uo/v-deo.html
@@sunshynff Very cool story! thanks for that short novel! Sad for the man who passed but what a score for you! Have you heard of Trent Palmer? He is a drone pilot for money and airplane pilot to waste all his money. Well check his stuff here as he runs a drone similar to your new drone----> ua-cam.com/users/boredentertainment88
Hi Clyde 🤩🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟
Only you Dave... Thing sure sounds like a skeeter to me.. Maybe that is what our chainsaws sound like to giants.. Have fun !!
That looks awesome! Custom build? Hope you're doing well
I built a 7 inch Armattan Chameleon with hobbywing 60 amp stack/ brother hobby 2810/1500 kv motors and DJI air unit, gemfan 7040 props, a bunch of styrofoam, coat hangers and electric tape
Thank you so much for the last one 🥰 it was a super morale boost ♡ I am in love with the neighborhood and the farm is absolutely beautiful. You guys rock! See you in a little more than a month!
Sorry I had to delete it. See you soon
@@tremkoalaska5543 that's okay! We saw all we needed to really help lock in the decision! We close this week 🥰🙏 site unseen is intense, but we know this is what is right and the good will of the Lord! Thank you for your immense help!
@@sunshinemama2325 Site unseen? Wow I didn't know that part. Just know that when you get here the snow will be melting fast and the days get REALLY LONG, like very little darkness and by July there is no darkness.
@@tremkoalaska5543 ohhh yes, we've spent the last 4 months praying, researching and making many preparations both physically and mentally! I feel like this is a great time of year to be coming up to start all of this. While snow is still on the ground but not for much longer and straight into summer with time to prepare for our first winter. It goes beyond just site unseen, my husband is the only one that ever been to Alaska and he went to Juneau... in the summer. We are as green as they come. We're the right type for what we're doing, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to do this the way we are. We are riding the line between faith and just plain stupid lol, fortunately it's more on the side of faith due to the series of events that has led us here! Had it not lined up as perfectly, and had we not seen the Lord move the way we have and seen the signs... this would be the dumbest thing we have ever done lol.
Dude way to stick that landing...upping your acro skills I see. Woot woot !!!!!
Every day I try to get lower and lower and try to stay in acro mode exclusively but you may have caught the moment I switched to angle mode just before landing. Thanks for feedback!

@@tremkoalaska5543 No doubt. That guy was breaking all sorts of rules. No Part 107 for commercial flights, flying in controlled airspace, his telemetry exposed, was making money from his flight videos, and that ain't the half of it. Not the brightest crayon in the box. If you do post more let me know. Happy flying Tremko, and Happy New Year!!!
Is that church active?!
Absolutely . Every sunday
Do you live in Slana? We are looking into moving there and I can't find hardly any information on it!
We live directly across from the Slana church. It is the smallest town on earth. Property is cheap, grocery store 75 miles away.
That flight was awesome! Landing was so much hard too! :D
I wanted the video bad enough to possibly loose the drone but got lucky. Now I have enough stick time and confidence to do it just for fun
