Lincoln Navigator Shock Replacement! (Conversion Kit!)
Переглядів 6 тис.Рік тому
2004 Lincoln Navigator had air suspension problems. The customer went ahead and let me know he wanted to do a conversuon to standard suspension. I went ahead and ordered these shocks from Strutmasters.com. If you have any questions feel free to comment below! Requests are accepted as well! A bypass module was also installed in order to prevent the Air suspension light from coming back on.
That was very helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful!
That “ make sure it clicks “ at the end of the video… yea. I knew that but damn. Mine won’t click. Not sure why. I just replaced mine a few hours ago on my 2009 sedan Yaris. Went to the dealer to get the denso Toyota oem one, I get discounts at the dealer since I work at a dealership. Not sure why mine won’t click back into place. Nothings broken or stripped. Gonna try again in the morning. Makes me worry. I mean it’s in all the way just won’t click. It’s also plastic as you know so I don’t wanna force it or bend or break anything… worried if it isn’t clicked in might run wrong or trip the check engine light :(
Sick video! We also need more Remble content
Thank you bro! Now I'm going to pull the navigator into my shop
Glad i could help!
Thanks! Good video!
Aw it was nice but highly disappointing you don’t show putting it back it. Good views though of the job getting done
What is the benefits of changing this sensor?
What a late response on my end! But the benefit in this case was for a properly clean reading sensor to see how much air volume is getting taken into the engine. With this you have a proper balance of air to fuel compensation and a better running car! This is not a precautionary repair normally, but if you’re having rough running issues it can definitely be a cause.
Nice!!
Nice! Hey plans to upgrading that aftermarket head unit? With car play / front cams / front collision alerts etc. I want to modernize it . I got the same truck.
That sounds awesome, but this was a customers car. Let me know how the process goes on your end!
@@bambisautomotive3479 what’s range in labor cost for conversion ? Ty
In terms of installing just a new head unit, labor would be about an hours worth. The rest would require alot more of electrical work with putting in collision allerts and sensors and would need a lot of modifications to your bumpers, etc.. id recommend just getting a different head unit with some cameras front and rear. And youd only be spending somewhere near 800 bucks.
@@bambisautomotive3479 I mean the labor for the job you did in this video . Ty
@@torocars9227 labor alone would run you about $400
Very simple and straight to the point! Thank you I will be attempting this tomorrow
Im glad it helped!
