2021 Z900 The Wife's First Ride on the Road
We finally got my wife's license in the mail with her endorsement on it and we're doing a first ride by herself on her 2021 Z900. Keep in mind, she hasn't had the chance to ride for at least a couple of months, because of me contracting COVID. She did great! We just need more practice and I have her ride on the right side of the lane. Maybe even work a little more on the clutch. Thanks for watching and don't forget to subcribe, like and hit the bell button.

Comment down below and let us know and may send whichever ...

Super happy with these that I can't wait for all the parts to be put on, so stay tuned.

    You get 'lower class' bike to learn to ride: it should be the one that doesn't intimidate you. Z900 requires a lot of skills to utilize fully, I'd say 30k miles on a sub-600cc or even 300cc to get your head around biking. Then jump on 750+. No point getting a bike you can't use fully. Ground effect lights 🙂

    Bought the same Radiator Guard for a 2023 Z900. Had to remove one grommet and one bolt on the left and right fairing to get my fingers in there. I also put 3/16" stainless spacers on the bottom bolts for more air flow. I wanted all 4 bolts to have spacers, but it wasn't happening with just me working on it. Better 2 than none. Took an hour. It leans to the left a little. My OCD cant handle it. Next time cut it out and tape it on the tank with blue painter's tape. Use the tape to outline the protector so as you peel the backing and stick it on front the top, you can place it in the exact position you marked.

    Are you still running this mount? Been debating the chin mount or motoradd... motoradd is $10 cheaper and seems to cover more surface area as far as 3m to helmet contact (theoretically steadier mount), however the arms clipping into place seem to counteract that because its not one solid unit. the Chin Mount brand has a smaller "footprint" which looks way better if your into minimalism. and it comes with a safety tether. (con: safety tether must also be taped to camera) i'd appreciate your and your husbands insight! Which lasted longer/which one would you buy if you had to buy one again? thanks in advance

    • @rtsplayground4890
      @rtsplayground4890 Рік тому

      Both mounts are still being used and have lasted since they've been installed. If I had a choice to do it over again, I would go with the smaller chin mount. The double sided tape they use are very strong. If you're going to go with the minimalist style, make sure you get one that is specific to your helmet. This will give you the best and most contact to your helmet with the double sided tape. There is 2 options that you can choose from and they are chinmounts or ridetechmoto. These 2 we have used and will work great. In the end, it all depends on your preference as far as look and price. They all do what you want them to do.
