Where are the instructions for the straps? I'm looking at pattern pieces 34 and 35 and I guess I'm instinctively supposed to know how to put this together but I'm not that good. I'm no novice to leather work or stitching but can't do something I've never done before and there's no video section for it. Did I miss it in the printed instructions? Is there a video from a different pattern that shows how to put these straps together so I just don't randomly cut a piece of leather that will go to waste because I did it wrong? Or WAS it on this video and I just misses it? Help is much appreciated. 😊 Ok. I keep staring at the pattern pieces. Does 34 go on the bat or the wing pieces? I guess I can play with pc 34 until I figure it out since that seems to be the exact measurement and once I sort that piece out, I should be able to know how the other piece is stiched and just figure out the right length for me. I am a little disappointed I'll have to figure this out myself because I'm a visual learner but I'm going to check the pdf again in case I missed instructions somewhere.
Hi! We didn't show that but it's the easiest part. The ends that need to enclose a D-ring will do so along with parts 31 and 32 which go on the backpack. The other ends will either be punched or have the buckles attached to them. I hope that makes sense but if not then I'll try to elaborate more
Loved this! Just finished making the mask for my husband in time for Aliens: Romulus.
I'm so glad you enjoyed making it! We're eager for the movie as well
Çok güzel 👏👏👏 fermuar yapımı olsaydı keşke
Beautiful work! Worst point was two different thread choices I believe
Thank you! It was supposed to look like it was sewn with only one needle for a more artisanal effect
Fuck me i hate the sound of my own apartment
Love everything you put out here! I was so surprised by the D U P B A G Y crossbody bag. love it!
Can we get the diagram plz
PDF?
You should make a full sized mask
вот уж точно вечная игрушка!!!
PDF nereden alırız
Damn, love the look of this bag, not so much the video. I bought the pattern before seeing the video, like always, not sure if I will do that again. Even after watching this several times, I'm still not sure how some things were done. Maybe I use the videos as too much of a crutch, but I do like having a better reference to fall back on.
You should find the diagram helpful as well and if not then I'm always in for a chat. Just message me on Etsy so I can respond quicker
Nice 😊
L❤ve you patternhub
Wow
What kind of if threads and needle do you use?
1 mm Amann thread and Osborne needles
Disregard my message. I finally found part 1 & 2.... thanks pal, great bag design.
Lavey as in Anton LaVey?? Probably not but a cool coincidence!
Actually yes :D
@@LeatherHubPatterns Wow that is sooo cool!!! I studied him for a project in high school!
I have never seen seems like that before, very interesting.
Do you mean the saddle stitching method?
No, the black strips with the smaller strips sewn in behind them in the edges. It's like a reinforced edge gusset? Not sure what to call it, but I like it!
@@NMiller_ The edges are reinforced that way and also makes them sharper so they keep their shape. We used this method for the Mimic as well but to a smaller extent
Good twilight, one question arose in the process, how did you process the skin cut for the black elements? And how did the bottom behave as a result of long wearing?
When I see all the stiching, my hands hurt , incredible job!
Thank you! Few things make us feel more alive than pain does :D
I love to try this one home. am not sure I can do it but I'll give a try. thanks buddy for sharing
beautiful. love it
wooooow. amazing skill. thanks for sharing
So what's piece #2 for in the pattern? I didn't see it show up in the video.
It's the lining which we didn't show to save you some time but we lined our part 3 with a piece of pigskin
is this the official tutorial video?
There isn't a video tutorial as it would have been 2 hours long. We've included an assembly diagram which if you want I can send to you beforehand and which should save you time. PM me on Etsy if you wish to take a look
@@LeatherHubPatterns im okay with two hours if need be. I would have been lost on the mimic without that video.
@@Joshua-Mason Very likely, without any assembly guidelines. Some places needed water casing, others had a very tricky way of being attached. It's not the case with this project and the exploded view should suffice. As always, I'm ready to guide you myself if you get stuck so please let me know if you run intro trouble
My wife loves this she asking instead of a spider an owl 🦉 🥰
This is beautiful 😍 bravo 👏
Thank you!
I like the video but the shaking stuff on screen is really distracting and makes it hard to watch.
Thanks! I don't like it either but not as much as IG video thieves who hate it
@@LeatherHubPatterns completely understand
Love it❤
Bought the pattern immediately, the bag looks so great. Goddamn that’s a speed run on the video. Don’t forget guys, we don’t just want to “watch” you guys make one; we’re trying to learn it ourselves too.
Thank you! We just thought we'd save you some time
: )
Geez... and to think that's how all things used to be made. By hand or it didn't happen at all.
Пизд@ц как дорого❤❤❤❤
Another great pattern from LHP. I do miss the old video style though.
Thank you sir! We're just doing a bit of experimenting
Hermoso trabajo, mi felicitaciones ❤.
Hooooooooooooooooooo!!!... 😳👍😊
great design as always
😂😂😂😂 The material cost 5$ and the PDf 7 😂😂😂😂😂
Not adjusted for inflation lol
amazing design. am just a student leatherworkd. respect for what you're doing
Thank you!
@@LeatherHubPatterns may I ask what is the name of the produce you used in [02:22]? thanks in advance
@@farhadfadayi7389 I'm pretty sure it's Fiebing's saddle tan
