I just bought this knife. I’m conflicted about my purchase because I’m a Detroiter and I thought I was buying local. These are made in China. I emailed Fred to ask what about this knife is authentic Detroit and I’m waiting for a reply. I hate to say this but it’s very common for brands to claim Detroit cause of our long history of industriousness but the fact is, those days have long since passed. Detroit is still industrious but in a much different than it was 30-40 years ago when that rep was established

Very cool light, but only if you carry the case with it. Which I would not. If I was a backpack guy or fanny pack guy, maybe, but in my pocket, nope. They should have put a belt clip on case th3n maybe it would be doable in my situation. But no issue with the light itself as far as how much light.
