Baby hummingbird, July 22ed 🥰 "Tom"
Ruby throated hummingbird Baby, "Tom". First spotted on July 22ed in the evening. I had noticed we had a lot of foraging going on by one particular bird , he perched on the tomato cage being goofy and sweet.
Welcome "Tom" , to the fam 🥰, Jenny's new fledge.
I also heard peeping from her nesting area 2 days before this was shot. Lots of baby birds here but this chirp was different 😃❤️.
Currently have kingbird fledges and our verios second clutch .. and the chickadees and nuthatches flow to boot.

😂well I'm glad it didn't lol, mayfly are one of the most important bugs on our lake, this year we didn't have a strong hatch so the birds have missed out on that vital protein
