Thank you. Jason is the man..
Thanks for this. I'm working on historical videos.. personal documentary style.. the challenge I find is just how time consuming this is.. interviews to organize and collate.. broll to film or find.. research to do.. I nearly have to work away for a year on one video! The scripting idea may be a way I can save a tonne of time! Thanks for all the tips!
broo! don’t stop! I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!
@ederross thanks so much! Love hearing messages like this!
Thank you for asking at 27:00
But isn't his answer is contradictory to his product? His product find email to do cold emails, and he is not pro with cold emails?
Great video man, even if it didn't get that much views you're doing very good it just because it's very niched. but so much value thanks man.
Love it 👌🏿👌🏿
Dude there were some gems in here 💎 The parts about the tension then resolution, and the wave flow etc. And then the transcript stuff. Dude. I thought this channel would have 10-100k subs.
Yeah this one is gold. Glad you liked it and thanks for the kind words.
This was a great chat. I really enjoyed it. @Craig: what makes you say you wouldn't have another SaaS business?
thanks James! I think that Castos is a really great business, and I just don't see trading it (a known good opportunity) for a potentially worse one. I also think there are some business models that are "easier" than SaaS. But that's a whole different discussion.
@@roguestartups interesting. Lots of folks tend to idolise SaaS. Or they used to. What's your dream business? A tonne of cash in a high interest account ?
@@jamesekennedy Yeah that wouldn't be bad. SaaS is pretty high up there. I also think e-learning (high end courses, coaching, and "info products") can be pretty strong too. The commonality in both is high unit margins, ability to scale, and (if you do SaaS right) no need to have a huge team or raise boatloads of funding.
Love the new setup
Thanks so much! Taking some getting used to, but I like it too.
Love it 👌🏿👌🏿
mate are you using a prompter > the video feels it is scripted from a prompter.
Thanks for having me! My wife was waiting in front of the door because she didn't have the key to the apartment and I had to deliver this fast from my office not to get divorced. And I think did! :) Cheers!
Thanks so much for coming on the show and sharing so much great knowledge with the audience. Game changer!
Great session. Didnt even blink an eye. Sam is a great teacher and I learned too much from this podcast. Thanks Craig!
Clearly where more AI is needed, is to train all of Jason Cohen’s 17 years of blog content into AI-generated fake-JasonBot videos of him talking about SaaS business! It’d be the perfect podcast guest!
Did you use Zoom to bring George and yourself together on this screen? I'm trying to figure out the tech tools, bcos I'm planning to have guest speakers to come on board as I create videos for my channel too! :) And I absolutely love the contents of this video- THANK U!
HI there, no we recorded this on Riverside.fm - great tool for recording high quality remote interviews.
I see scripting a bit like prep before cooking. You can wash and chop up each item when you need it, but if you spend time to wash and chop everything before you start cooking, the actual cooking goes so much faster.
This is great thanks. :)
So much quality in this video! Thanks for being real in regards to the anxiety part ( trying to firm my first UA-cam video).
I Think Your Next Guest Should Be (Ed Lawrence) From Film both. Mainly For Three Reasons. 1) He Have A Very Big Sea Of Knowledge When It Comes To UA-cam. 2)Because He Have A Very Big Sea Of Knowledge, ( It Can Be Helpful For You Too, He Might Give You Some Personalised Feedback For Your Channel) 3) It Will Be Helpful For Us (Audience). .... Btw : This Episode With George Blackman Is Gold. Wholeheartedly Thank You Craig Hewitt.
less than 15 minutes in... brilliant! Thanks so much for such great insights.
Great video! As a scriptwriter, i could listen to George all day. Just wish i could afford his course.
Agree, George is masterful at this. I learned so much from our conversation.
*very interesting* !
This was such a fun conversation. For those looking to close deals quickly, this should really help.
What are some examples of 'stuff that makes no difference' that you have been tempted by Craig?
Other media companies? TinySeed? I think you just did an episode with Rob last week about it ;)
Yep, great point. Rob and the team there do a great job. Any others I missed?
You don't have to do it 2 hours a day it just takes time to get into mefitation(for some people). You probably start with exercise to get into mindfulness and one cday you realize that you are sitting in a chair and were listening to the trees moving for the last 20 min. Getting into mindfulness is for everybody different. Mine was watching things move out of my sight when driving.
Thanks for having us on the show. Had a blast talking about customer service, customer support and WordPress.
