    Thanks for this. I'm working on historical videos.. personal documentary style.. the challenge I find is just how time consuming this is.. interviews to organize and collate.. broll to film or find.. research to do.. I nearly have to work away for a year on one video! The scripting idea may be a way I can save a tonne of time! Thanks for all the tips!

    • @roguestartups
      @roguestartups 3 місяці тому

      thanks James! I think that Castos is a really great business, and I just don't see trading it (a known good opportunity) for a potentially worse one. I also think there are some business models that are "easier" than SaaS. But that's a whole different discussion.

      @@roguestartups interesting. Lots of folks tend to idolise SaaS. Or they used to. What's your dream business? A tonne of cash in a high interest account ?

    • @roguestartups
      @roguestartups 3 місяці тому

      @@jamesekennedy Yeah that wouldn't be bad. SaaS is pretty high up there. I also think e-learning (high end courses, coaching, and "info products") can be pretty strong too. The commonality in both is high unit margins, ability to scale, and (if you do SaaS right) no need to have a huge team or raise boatloads of funding.

    I see scripting a bit like prep before cooking. You can wash and chop up each item when you need it, but if you spend time to wash and chop everything before you start cooking, the actual cooking goes so much faster.

    You don't have to do it 2 hours a day it just takes time to get into mefitation(for some people). You probably start with exercise to get into mindfulness and one cday you realize that you are sitting in a chair and were listening to the trees moving for the last 20 min. Getting into mindfulness is for everybody different. Mine was watching things move out of my sight when driving.
