"Dedication", "Revolution", "Sisters Of Mercy" and (very unlikely) the excellent Thin Lizzy-leftover "Don't let him slip away", these 4 songs in a row on the first LP side of the third Phil Solo-Album would have topped the previous albums concerning song-quality and hookline-accessibility by far. If I had 2 wishes, Phil would be still alive and this would have happened.

Open your eyes, this is an example of shitting playing, weak bassist. Highly overrated.

In this one, outstanding video clip, you can really appreciate why Thin Lizzy is rightly considered to be one of the, if not THE, major "influences" on the rise of "NWOBHM" and then the sudden rise of "speed metal" and then the following "explosion", if you will, of many related similar styles of the harder-edged and more "metal" metal than what predated the masters that were Thin Lizzy. Seriously, just in this one song captured live, you've got the Phil Lynnot "Power Stance", where he's hunched over his axe almost looking like it's a rifle shooting out massive "bars" of music. Thats been kind of a staple now of the heavy music scene since then. #2, the lyrics of this song in particular are like a blueprint that has been kind of in heavy metal rotation since then. And finally, it's that twin guitar ATTACK that is just so fkn good and "heavy" sounding that we music fans can be glad that Tin Lizzy "re-suited" the dual lead to sound so good and groundbreaking. This live performance gets 6 out of 5 stars from me!

This has happened several times to the Irish actor Cillian Murphy in interviews. It just highlights the ignorance of a lot of journalists and interviewers. What makes it so cringy and exacerbates the situation is when they say "British" to cover up the original mistake as if that includes Irish people from tbe Republic.
