I fell in love with that Aria many years ago when it was used in the TV series in the UK the Life and loves of a she devil starring Denis waterman and Patricia Hodges but Porgi Amor was sung in the series by Christine Collister from the Isle of Man,more a jazz singer than a soprano but that said also like a contralto and I have been searching for a voice to match and I hear you sing Perfect tone beautifully sung Ill be searching for more ,Berlioz Nuit devries would be wonderful Ill keep tabs Make an album .Like most people I have never heard an angel sing but if I was to hear an angel sing I think it might be through your voice.

Arthur de Silva: What a surprise find she is on UA-cam. She has a beautiful Lyric Soprano Voice with secure top notes well supported. She sings with a lot of presence and emotion. This aria from Bizet's "Pearl Fishers' which was set in Ancient Ceylon now Sri Lanka fits her Sri Lankan heritage beautifully. I also enjoyed her interpretation of Mozart's "Porgi Amor" and hopes she records the companion aria :Dove Sono" as well. Brava indeed Ms Goonetilleke and I hope your career leads you to the MET some day soon.
