That was an aaful preformance way to fast tempo is 60 they played atleas at 80 and were very out of tune

Same I played this at a prep rally. and the fact they played this at a concert it’s crazy my school just gave us like 8 songs and like this was one of them and then I had a concert like 2 weeks after that

made up a part on tenors for this that is a little harder.

As a band professional, I would definitely make the bass more sticado to give that stomping vibe and maybe more aggressive. I would also use two different mallets that I don’t remember the names of. The one with the big metal bars and the one with the wooden bars and combine the gong with the cymbal using snare drum sticks at the beginning an any part that repeats it where the mallets play their little melody

This sounded a bit under the right tempo slightly out of tune but not bad for middle schoolers (assuming there around my age) my band is playing it this year 7th and 8th grade band
