Bay Area Bouldering | Summit or Plummet - V9
Cazadero, CA
Climbed this boulder back in December 2022 with Vikas (@dhanasuraKarna) and Vishaal Agartha (@vishaalagartha1658) a month after returning to route-setting at Touchstone Climbing.
Really cool to discover relatively unknown boulders like this not too far from the East Bay.
***** Approach (under 5 minutes)
*** Location (secluded, avoidable poison oak)
*** Rock (skin friendly)
*** Line & Movement (super technical)
** Repeat Worthy (lone boulder)

So peaceful! I'm enjoying this piece as much as the dog who is sleeping 😊
glad you enjoyed it! it's a relief and a nice confirmation when she walks over to sleep on the sofa when i start playing :)
What a beautiful version! Very well done. How did you do the colorgrading of your video? I love the style :)
thanks! i used my black magic pocket cinema camera to record and applied one of the free luts from stonza photography, although i can't remember which specific luts.
Thank you very much for your reply! How did you record and edit the sound of the piano?
@@Ledahosnbua95 it's not the best solution, but one that i found simple and good enough for me: i used a field recording lavalier microphone called "clippy ems272" from micbooster.com with a cheap windscreen from amazon (you can see little bit of the white windscreens at the top of my "arcade fire - photograph (cover) video. i used that with Sony PCM-A10 recorder. then i edited sound with my video editing software davinci resolve (in it, it has a module called "fairlight", which is for sound editing). but i didn't purchase these things in order to record piano playing. i had it for other reasons already and used what i had around. hope that helps you
@@chulhochang Wow - thank you so much for taking the time for this detailed response. It really helps. Wish you all the best :)
Nice. Glad to see people climbing this
وطبعا هذا كان علي عسيري 🤫
i wish i knew what this means... google translate doesn't help much!
🤳🤳😂
Nice mood!
thanks!
Very impressive and cool doggo
thanks! and yes she's a cool dog indeed~
love it!
glad you enjoyed it!
Bro, alway when i see a cover of this song, i feel free. Pd: Your piano are so cool and beautiful (Sorry if my english isn't good i'll still practice)
i feel the same "free" feeling- becoming free. thanks for the compliment on the piano- i'm learning to express myself better through this piano. your english is great! thanks for taking the time to comment~
how do you do the longest stretch?
that part is a bit tricky for me as well. my right hand pinky is 1/2" shorter than it should be because of an injury i sustained as a child, so for that part i have to rock my wrist back and forth between the two "longest stretch" notes to make it work (very short, quick jumps between notes), along with using the sustain pedal. if you want to see video of top down view, send me your email address and i can share it with you
@@chulhochang no it's ok, I understand how the long jumps are done, I have also tried to switch to thumb and pinky for that part, I am a beginner so it's more difficult, I played it yesterday with some pain in the hand but fortunately today there is no pain.
I’ve been obsessed with this song for a long time. I’m pretty sure I have seen most of the covers on youtube, and I can play it myself. But I have to admit, your interpretation is truly touching and of the best covers I’ve seen. I’m in awe. Nice work 🤍
thank you for the kind words. reading this warmed my heart on a cold night..
Nice cover :]
thanks!
great stuff man!
thanks!
You have the luckiest dog in the World¡¡¡
ha thanks for the comment. i usually feel guilty when she's asleep during the day because i know she'd much rather be outside chasing squirrels..
Love it
thanks!
Perfect
thank you~
i loved it :) thanks a lot for this cover
Perfect man
@@musagorduk7743 it feels like i'm moving to another country with my journal which i fullfilled with my memories and with my baggage that i'm pulling while walking through the way surrounded with dark orange leaves in the spring. Is'nt it ?
glad you liked it!
