Lunches I've seen given to some children by their own parents include: those same meatballs, leftover Chick-fil-A, Chinese food, chopped up hot dogs, box mac-n-cheese, breakfast food, etc. and don't get me started on the snacks! So in my opinion, this is an acceptable meal especially considering the RIDICULOUS prices for healthy food items. I think with her being a home daycare she is likely doing the best that she can ---- love the school-style lunch trays!

Yep. As a parent myself I came to this realization. My mom was just a girl.

Thats growth. Maturity. My mom died when I was 26, before I had my own daughter. I never knew how much my mom loved me until I had my own daughter. Why she did everything she did , and the fact that she loved me while at the same time being a human with her own flaws. I read the other day in the Journal of Neuroscience that the strongest biological bond is between mothers and their daughters. ❤ Makes me so happy when girls grow into women and start to realize that mom's love is mom's love, no matter who they are as a person. My daughter is only 5 now and I know we'll fight like all moms and daughters do but I also know one day she'll be wise enough to yo understand that I'm only human and I've loved her every moment of every day. ❤
