Best Inshore Lures for Snook, Redfish, and Trout
Hey everyone! Have you ever debated what lures to throw when fishing artificial? In this video, I go in depth on my favorite styles of artificial lures for snook, redfish, and trout as well as where and how I work these baits!
Please ask questions about these lures or others that you are curious about! Also, feel free to share your opinions about other lures not shared here that are your favorite to throw and for what fish you target with them.
I want my channel to help others catch fish and sharing our collective knowledge about lures and fish will help anyone watching/reading the comments to fine tune their fishing game to do better!
Thanks again for watching and please like and subscribe to my channel if you have not yet. I am thrilled to have surpassed 600 subs and now aim to reach 1000! Please help me grow my channel! :D
Thanks everyone!
Enjoy!

Backyard POND Tarpon

Hey everyone! We had lots of rain in SWFL recently and it gets the tarpon in local neighborhood ponds feeding! I sized down my soft plastic paddletail to better mimic the minnows the tarpon were feeding on and it did not take long to start getting some bites. I hope you like this short content! If you haven't yet, please subscribe and keep up to date with my videos and fund times! Feel free to ...

Hey everyone! On this trip, I visit Ding Darling on Sanibel Island and fish from my LIVEwatersports L4 Paddleboard. I throw my castnet to catch some fresh bait and search for fish. I was unable to find any of the snook or redfish I was looking for, but was fortunate to find some hungry mangrove snapper and spotted seatrout. J.N. Additional question, do you know if, once you add a 6hp motor, if you have to register it with DNR? Its not a boat, so its not clear to me.

    • @RamseyFisher
      @RamseyFisher 23 дні тому

      I do not know exactly on the registering. I do think I have seen some of these boards that have registration numbers on them when they had a gas motor. I would love to have just an electric motor on the front.

    • @averageeverydayfishermansh4501
      @averageeverydayfishermansh4501 5 днів тому

      I think that will be state dependent but in FL anytime you add a motor (electric, trolling, gas) it does need to be registered. If you just used it as a paddleboard, you would not need to register it but as soon as you put the motor on it you do. Again, that's Florida though and it depends on your state.

    how durable is the bottom of these for like going down rivers and possibly hitting rocks? Is it easy to repair or would you not use it going down a river?

    • @RamseyFisher
      @RamseyFisher 23 дні тому

      For what they are, they are pretty durable. I would love to river travel with it, but I would be hesitant to take it down a river with shallow/rocky bottom.

    Bro I absolutely love your videos. Ive been fishing Pineland a lot but am taking a break after learning my lesson about not depending on trolling motors. Anyway your videos teach me a lot and give me a deeper respect for the fish as well and MOSTLY get me suuuper excited to go fishing. Im new to boating and am running a 14ft Jonboat with trolling motors so my range is super limited but I would love to see you fish Pineland Pine Island! Tons of grassflats

    • @RamseyFisher
      @RamseyFisher 29 днів тому

      Man, I love this comment! Thank you! I have to get out of my comfort zone and fish some new places. I have fished Pineland by boat, amazing grass flats, but never from my paddleboard. I am excited to fish more places in SWFL and definitely have to launch my paddleboard for matlacha and pineland. I have a huge passion for fishing and the fish themselves. I do often keep fish to eat, but am very big on respecting the fish and doing a lot of catch and release too. You sound like you can do some work in that Jonboat though! Those things are super versatile, but always keep some paddles onboard for a backup if you have some motor problems! Haha.

    Update: We were experiencing some issues jumping on plane and were not reaching our anticipated top speeds with the three blade prop that was on our motor. So we switched to a four blade prop and immediately improved our rate of getting up onto plane and were able to achieve our typical top speed. This was the first time I had to consider changing props and it made a huge difference. So if your motor is not performing just right, changing the prop is something to consider!
