I just went through a similar thing with my vette heading to work my trans coolant line seal cracked & spilled all the fluid out. I ended up towing the car home! I have a question when that happened to bet Did u need a trans rebuild , or when the lines got fixed did every thing was worked back to normal after?

My son has a C6 that is straight piped, cat delete. It’s loud and it sounds amazing. But when he comes into my neighborhood, or any other, he crawls thru at almost idle so as not to disturb people. Corvette owners are a different breed of muscle car owners/drivers.

If that was a mustang show there would have been at least 8 wrecks, 5 blown shifts, 18 fishtails, 26 burnouts, and a partridge in a pear tree leaving that show. Love how the old guys drove like they had their wives in the car and the younger guys gave it a bit more throttle. LMAO.

I know that this was over 3 yrs ago but when buying car these are the type of owners who you want to buy from someone who has taken good care of the car

From my experience because I am a owner of a S600 and I'm dealing with the coil packs now, only one side is costing me $2800. Anything that you have to fix is expensive and don't ever buy aftermarket parts because it will make the situation worse. I learned the hard way

I have an 07 Black S550 AMG Sport pkg that's modified (tuned by OE Tuning, secondary cat delete w/ x-pipe and muffler delete, limo tint and 35% windshield tint). Con #1 for me is the turn signal stalk is too low on the side of the steering column. If I'm turning left and have the signal on, 9 times out of 10 I bump the stalk with my knee which triggers the wipers. If I was shorter it might not be a problem but I'm 6'2 and it always hits my knee.

Please No rev at cold. It hurts me to see these engines being beat up by cold start rev/acc. Being an AMG owner i know its temptating. But please take care of it
