Great video. Can you please make a quick followup video with "just" the exact fuse replacement. The original video, had bad lighting and it was very difficult to see how you did the bridge (in either part1 or part2 videos)

I did what you said. The air blows. But not cold. Not warm either (that’s good). It just blows like the older cars with the vent button.

Same problem the black one will make your 5v reference go down and it will no cranck bc will affect the 5v reference on cam and crankshaft so will not cranck disconnect the sensor and check for voltage and u will see i will have 5v again so idk it acts like a short group when u have that black map sensor conector

Where did you plug in the gm sensor on the intake manifold?

Holy shit I’ve been trying to diagnose this same problem. Engine sounds fine at startup but once the rpm’s come down to normal, you can start to hear what seems like the chain banging. Also hear it between 1100-1300 rpm’s but not over that until it shifts gears and the rpm’s come down again. Might have to drop the pan this weekend

The red sensor is a ls9/LSA 3 bar sensor, the black one is an ls3 “1290” 1 bar sensor.

What size is the wires 14 guage or 18 gauge?

I am planing to buy Land Cruiser Prado 120 which has the same engine. The main problem is that engines need oil change at the most 7k miles to be safe. Oil pick up as we see is in total mess, but still it can be changed for less money. Oil pick up change and one nice flush makes wonder. This engines can last very long if taken care. Timing chains on this can theoreticaly last 300k if driven normal and oil change at shorter intervals. The chain costs not that much, to problem is the labor that is pretty expensive.Luckily where I live in Europe labor cost not that much as in some countries so I will change my timing chain at 140k just to be sure.

Quick question. I took my hhr to my mechanic and he changed my transmission, after he got done he was gonna test drive it but the anti theft system got activated, so the car is not letting him start it. Do you know if we can deactivate the anti theft system thru the body control module?
