Taking Control Of Conversations About My Eczema
Read the full blog and find out what happened to me here: atopicdermatitis.net/living/talking-about-eczema
Talking about eczema with others--especially strangers--is not easy. In this video, I share a perspective and paradigm shift I experienced in 2018 that transformed my experience with random confrontations about my skin and rashes in the wild that is everyday life, haha.
I hope that my insights will help other warriors, new and old find more peace of mind and empowerment with their interactions and conversations with others about their skin and health 🙏🕊💝

If you'd like to know what has helped me keep going even through the toughest times, watch the full video here for 3 tips: ua-cam.com/video/tVYDzMoJuTY/v-deo.htmlsi=ZOq0lkRSP-I4v1SL 💪🏽Eczema is not for the weak. It takes a strength so deep to keeping choosing to live when you live with so much pain for such a long time. Thankfully, I am in a healthier place with my skin. But I never forget what it's like to struggle with sensitive skin.

    I needed this video! I am a month and a week into my parasite/candida detox and my eczema is getting worse. I thought I was going crazy and wanted to stop. But now i know that these toxins have to get out somehow. So Im eating way more fruit and veg, juicing celery daily, and getting in the sauna etc. xx

      I'm so happy that you've found this video and have regained hope on your healing journey! Yes, when I first did mine, I went full-throttle and it took me 5 months until I experienced a full recovery. It can still get worse if I have sugar/carbs, but it's very manageable and often an afterthought. I would look up Canxida/Naturopath Erik Bakker on YT as his videos were a great guide for me with my diet and nutrition. Dr. Berg's advice on YT for Keto and IF are also great resources. Also, I would suggest eliminating all fruit except berries because of the carb/sugar content. Although it's natural, it's still sugar and good candida fodder. Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery!

    Sadly after being eczema free for nearly 2 years it has unfortunately decided to rear its ugly head and make a come back 😢it’s in the usual places , backs of the knees, armpits, around my neck, and I also now have some itchy spots of my chest and back that seems to be in small clusters, it only started again recently in the last week upon the birth of my nephew, not sure if this stress related, as our living situation is not ideal, there are 7 adults, a new baby, 2 dogs and a cat that occasionally visits, the house we are living in was only built for a family of 4, i am on the autistic spectrum and new things do tend to stress me out a little bit but I should be happy for this new arrival and I am but I don’t know if this is unconscious stress or something on the like, sorry rambling too much, I do hope I get past this eventually,

      Sorry to hear about everything you're going through. Your living situation does sound stressful and cramped. Well, your ramble is the equivalent of what I do when I journal. And in that process I typically work out what's bothering me which you have done here by answering your own questions and concerns. 😊 Trust that you've gotten over it before, so you can and will do it again. Perhaps once things have settled down into a routine and you've adjusted to the changes, the rashes will subside? All change is stressful and requires a transitional phase to adapt. It's okay to be happy and worried about the new baby at the same time. It's valid. Accepting your honest feelings will make things less stressful than living in shame and denial. Maybe write or talk it out with someone who doesn't live there and just get some perspective on it? Good luck! You'll figure it out again.

      @EczemaPhoenix 3 роки тому

      I was on them from age 5 to 20, very formative years. But once I got serious about detoxing, it took me 6 years to clear my skin. It was all about being consistent at least 80-90% of the time with diet, lifestyle and my Chinese doctor's treatment plan. I did indulge occasionally for social reasons, but paying the price each time reminded me to get back on track asap. You're welcome! Hope that helps offer some perspective on the healing timeline.

      You're very welcome! Definitely keep following your gut. If you are also experiencing some benefits like more energy or a clearer mind, keep going for as long as you're comfortable. Though, I might be concerned with potential malnutrition. You can certainly go for the 30 days and see what happens, but I would also consider looking into getting into a clean diet, figuring out if you have any allergies, improving your digestive function and immunity. I have a new website that answers what I do, FAQs, categorizes all of my online eczema content by topic and has a list of resources you can check out for coaching and nutritional advice from other eczema warriors like us. Please do check it out for more guidance and possible treatment/lifestyle advice: www.eczemaphoenix.com. Through trial and error, you WILL eventually find your relief. Wishing you much healing! Hey there! I'm so glad you're thriving right now. I had a question though. I was inspired by your tcm video and have been using chinese medicine (herbs for tea) for 4 weeks now. I have eczema on my face, base of my neck, scalp and inner arms and legs... the docs says its hormonal and emotional. I have seen progress with colour, and itchiness but it seems to still be spreading. Just wondering of you have experienced the same thing? I am getting it in places I have never got it before... and am a bit worried. Ps..I got a doc that studied in china as per your recommendation. Really admire your work! This is my first comment here!

      Right on and thank you for your comment! So happy you're giving TCM a shot! Based on your comment, I have heard of people being allergic to eucalyptus which is in some TCM formulas. Are you aware of such an allergy? And have you shared your experience with the spreading rash with your TCM doctor? I find them to be very receptive to feedback and willing to adjust the formulas accordingly. Don't be shy and keep this info to yourself. Communicate all things good and bad to your Chinese doctor. The good ones will listen and change the formula. Also, if it's not an allergy to eucalyptus or any herbs in the formula, I highly suggest you watch my Sherlock Your Skin series to investigate other potential factors that could be contributing to your new rashes: ua-cam.com/play/PLpdfiDjc95ydZvxoWIdQ8Sn6KF8S7Dwzn.html Hope this helps and that you continue to see improvement!

    75%!! That's an insanely efficacious! I've heard and witnessed many similar experiences where herbs heal people up disproportionately quicker than western medicine relative to what how long it took the ailment to develop. Oddly enough, most of the active ingredients in western medicine come from plants, flowers and herbs. They just add so many other synthetics.

      Haha, yes, it is indeed insane and effective! Very cool! Would be curious to hear some of the stories of you witnessing this phenomenon in others. What sorts of ailments were they dealing with? And right! Highly agree! All medicine began from herbs! All of the synthetics are just derivatives of their active ingredients, but even then, it can still be lacking as there are many other components of the herbs other than their active ingredients that make them impactful at healing and rebalancing the many systems of the body. Many times those active ingredients also need the other components to work.

    Cheers for the video content! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard about - Honenry Hiycarlett Principle (just google it)? It is a great one off guide for stopping eczema without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend at last got astronomical success with it.
