I so understood Quinn's decision to refuse the amniocentesis. I was considered an 'elderly' mother -to-be at the ages of 38 and 40. Following my infertility history I felt deeply grateful to God for granting me and my husband the privilege of becoming parents. I also refused the amniocentesis because I felt that our baby is a gift from God even if disabled, and that 9 months in my womb may be, God forbid, its best time in its life. Either way it was our baby and embraced that fact. My husband, like Baby in this book, was totally supportive in the decision ❤. I'll forever love him for that ❤️.

All Janies books are good. But this is one of my very favorite. The female narrator was perfect. I absolutely hated those rich snobs. She did them so well they annoyed me 😅😅

Great story and plot but the dialogue was very disappointing and juvenile. Summer’s voice made it worse. Semi disappointing. Liked other books much better. No one can bat a thousand.

Is it just me who has noticed that women are now expected to resort to alcohol as a way of life to address disappointments, stressors and disaster in their lives. Is this supposed to be our obligatory equalization with men? It has never worked for them and it sure won't work for women. Please stop 🛑 this constant ode to inebriation 😢; it's not funny and should not be sold for a way to handle life. It's very dangerous for women on so many levels especially those of health. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but stop using alcohol as an excuse for your bad behavior and its consequences.

I been trying to find an author that writes book I like. I love Kat Martin, Rebecca Zanetti and the the type of romantic suspense/ with military stuff mixed in plus it’s the way they write the main couple in their stories that give them vulnerability but strength, that I love I listen to Janie Crouch book on here and I had to finish and read the other books.
