Here is an update on how things are going six months after my Kidney Transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona! Thanks for all your support Kidney Crew!!

My kidney transplant journey has taken me from Southern California, to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona, and back to Southern California. This vlog exists to document the ups, downs, and sideways nature of the journey. I hope to encourage people going through hard times, and to remind people that they are not alone. The Mayo Clinic was great! As far as kidney transplants go they were absolutely wonderful! But all good things come to an end... California here we come!!!

The Mayo Clinic is working diligently to figure out all that is going on with my health. My kidney transplant is looking good! My heart has a few unanswered questions remaining. Over all we are in good spirits and confident in how things are going.

We are still at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona. We are a day shy of 4 weeks post kidney transplant. In this episode we will give you a weekend update (our kids visited), a kidney update, a donor family update, and end with a bit of an unforeseen plot twist. There is never a dull moment around here haha

The Mayo Clinic has been great! But 3 weeks in we are really missing our kids. Kidney Transplant Vlog Episode 12: Attempting To Exercise

Two weeks post kidney transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Arizona!

Biggest update is at 12:27. A kidney transplant does not always go smoothly but being patient goes a long way! The Mayo Clinic has been great as we reach the 1 week post transplant.

After 2 days in the hospital I am happy to report I have been discharged from the Mayo Clinic. Today was all about getting moving and setting benchmarks to smash in the next coming days! #kidneyJon is on the move!!

Surgery is done, now we are on the road to recovery! My goal was to be in the best shape possible before my surgery so that I recovery would go smoothly!
