You can honestly keep cop propaganda shows like Blue Bloods and The Rookie...I'll take shows like this with incredible, edgy story telling, nuanced acting and morally grey areas.

One of the many reasons I loved the show Homicide Life on the Street is how they combined a scene with a great song but I'm not sure I ever saw a more perfect use of a song than "Overcome" by Live in the scene where they surround the container of cash. I can't stop watching it and of course knowing the mythology of the entire series just intensifies it

The real reason that Vic and guys ran out to the parking lot after Shane is they wanted to make sure they got their preferred softball jersey number before Shane took claim to it.

The scene with the MONEY TRAIN...always gets me...what do you do...hold & hide the $$$...split it up & run

One of the rare instances where a series began on top and ended on top. This show and The Wire both never had a subpar season

Shane’s final moment, Ronnie being arrested and Vic facing his colleagues after all his dirt came to light should have been on this list

I love how they never put in anything that dated the show, you can watch it over and over and it's still as relevant as it was when first broadcast.

It's really sad when Shane looks into the clubhouse before walking out there.

The first scene is brutal. Especially knowing that Kavanauggh was bluffing about putting Lem in prison.

Vic was mad at Aceveda for making a deal with a cop killer even though he had killed Terry Crowley, what a hypocrite.

I'm confused. Aren't these guys low lives for selling drugs and killing innocent people with addiction issues.

This is one of the best series made no doubt.

Lem dying is the best scene. It’s haunting and the acting is incredible. Walton Groggins kills it and you can feel his pain when he just keeps saying he’s sorry over and over. It’s an amazing and raw scene and it absolutely put the show on its path to its finish. Best scene of this show hands down.

You missed the pissing all over us scene. The Lozano Aceveda scene aswell as Antwon putting his foot on shanes head
