Nice vid. Changed my radiator today al3so but instead of rust, it was brown as if oil was getting into the cooling system. Fix 1 thing find 3 more issues. Bullnose ownership problems. #85F150

Someone ran straight tap water in that truck. Never run tap water. Distilled water plus proper antifreeze/coolant.

I'm flushing my cooling system tomorrow on a 1991 f150 4.9l that I bought a week ago. I've removed the heater core, and bypassed it for the flush. The heater core was packed, so I'll pull the thermostat and change it also. If I can clean the system great, if not I'll get a new water pump and radiator too. My neighbor has a 1985 f150 for sale that I passed on because of rust, oil leak, and the price was twice what I paid for the '91.
