Turns out, I was underestimating the lascanon. I suppose I'll use it more until I get to Diligence CS or something.

I’m playing this game for the first time and you can actually reach that spot once you get the force tame. I don’t know what that dash move is yet but I’m assuming you don’t get it till later. Just go to the spot in ramblers reach where the bogling is sitting and convince him to move, and there will be a few small puzzles but continue to progress your way forward and you can get up to that spot.

They've changed the design so this shortcut doesn't work anymore

The puzzle is in the barn. Look up when your by the eggs to see the thing you can grab with the force. The gate lifts and you call both nekkos in. One lets you jump up on the far platform where you hook the rope and the other you place on the lift so you can bring him out to the high ledge. Then just use him for a jump boost again. No later game powers necessary.

I knew it must be this way but it seemed too glitchy
