for Meditation and Relaxation

SOUND OF SLEEP was developed uniquely for the purpose of falling asleep. Single sounds occur delicately, remain for some time and disappear into the room again. It's as if the tones were tracing the slow passage of the clouds in twilight, as if the fragments of the melody wanted to let themselves float like leaves upon the surface of the water. And wherever the eyes wander: everything is bathed in smooth evening light, tangible enough to draw attention towards it for a short time but not distinct enough to want to grab it.
Every tone coming up from the distance is welcomed, is an enrichment but you want to rest, you are happy, simply to be here and now.
SMALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMING TO REST:
Insert the "SOUND OF SLEEP" CD in your CD-player.
Turn the volume to a low level.
Take time, draw some deep breaths, and feel if the volume is "right" for falling asleep. Adjust the volume by lowering it a bit, just to be sure, as the sensitivity of the sense of hearing may rise throughout the upcoming minutes.
Lie down comfortably in your favourite sleeping position or simply upon your back.
Let the pictures that come to your mind go away again. Let the breath float.

Der Schlaf ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Lebens. Allerdings ist der Weg ins Land der Ruhe nur allzu oft erschwert.
Oft sind es Umweltgeräusche, die sich der Entspannung in den Weg stellen, aber auch Leistungsdruck und Sorgen behindern das Abschalten.
Gedanken ziehen in Schleifen scheinbar endlos durch den Kopf.
Ruhe finden fällt schwer. Wie aber kann man dieses Karussell verlassen?
SOUND OF SLEEP wurde zum Eintauchen in die Ruhe entwickelt.
Sanft tauchen natürliche Pianoklänge auf, bleiben eine Zeit lang und verschwinden langsam wieder.
Es scheint so, als ob Melodiefragmente wie Blätter auf einer Wasseroberfläche treiben. Alles taucht ein in mildes Licht.
Jeder aus der Ferne klingende Ton wird begrüßt, ist eine Bereicherung, aber man möchte ruhen, man ist zufrieden, einfach nur da zu sein im Hier und Jetzt.
