Amazing thanks mate 😊, and welcome to the channel. OK try this, granted i am not running ACC in OpenXR, I run it in Steam for easy recording. If the below doesn't work let me know, I'll jump in my rig and try get it working and share the settings and process, the below is what I've read the solution is. On your computer you need to install open composite and openxr toolkit. with open composite switch acc to use openxr in order of steamvr. Hopefully then ACC will hook with Pimax OpenXR runtime.

The Enforcer is compatible with every headset. There's actually nothing for it to be compatible with as there is zero software required. Hope that helps answer your question. In short, it's going to work with your Pimax.

No you can't. They would need a separate computer with the additional headsst plugged into that, with the game installed. Basically playing multilayer.

Good info mate. I'm not having these issues in FS2020 or any other game using The motion rig and Crystal. Something is going on that's for sure. Also happens in pancake if I force the frames to drop really low. Not using base station just the IOT for reference.

Great question mate. If your router does not support Wi-fi6 or is not configured correctly to output on that channel you won't be able to connect to the PC over WiFi any faster than that. The Wi-fi 7 that your motherboard has built in is not for other devices like the Quest 3 to connect to. It's for the motherboard to connect to a Wi-fi signal from a router with Wi-fi or, Access Point. Whats the model of your router and I'll check for you. If it's not suitable, you can always just grab a cheap Wi-Fi 6 access point like i have suggested, plug that into your router, connect the Q3 to that and you are cooking on gas. Ideally you only want your PC connected by Ethernet cable, not wifi for the fastest and most stable connection to the router. Hope this helps.

@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigsjust got done with all of this.. the concept of enabling a mobile hotspot on windows 11 should have worked as I intended, but 5ghz is the max windows 11 will support despite your WiFi card. Truly disappointed. Meanwhile, link cable directly connected was worse than the virtual desktop over 5ghz router. Forced to buy a new access point.

@@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs wifi6 access point came in, only had 5ghz channel. Thought I was screwed when it auto came up as 1200mbps. Turns out the key was 160hz channel bandwidth in access point settings. Instant 2400mbps. I wonder if my Nighthawk AC2400 was capable of that all along. God forbid even the hotspot.

I had already commented the below information in an earlier reply to another veiwer about the difference in WiFI , Perhaps i should do a follow up video for everyone more in depth about this topic. there's Zero difference between Wifi6 vs 6e for the Quest 3. In Virtual Desktop Wifi6 connects at 2400mbit. In Wifi6e it also can only sustain a maximum bandwidth of 2400mbit. The only benefit to anyone with a Quest3 using the Wifi6e protocol is as i already stated, if you live in a very congested area like apartments and you are battling everyone else on the 5ghz channel, Wifi6e will step you up to the 6ghz channel. Other than increasing cost you will gain zero performance benefits for the Quest 3. Save your money unless you want to future proof yourself and simply step straight upto Wi-fi7 You can also use a Wifi scanning app on your phone to see if your area is saturated in 5Ghz before you buy anything. In addition to the above, yes the 160hz frequency allows the increased bandwidth on the 5ghz channel. There is even some more fine tuning you can do to further stabilise those speeds. Anyway mate I am glad you are at least at 2400mbit now, 😊

Yea that is a super annoying thing, I can only assume it's a bug mate. Hopefully they fix it soon. To my knowledge the only way to get rid of it is by doing what you suggested. I have also heard an Xbox controller plugged in and a button press might also do it. Thanks for watching mate.

Mate it's a good set of questions you raise. The issue is that the two headsets are vastly different, both with their own pros and cons. Quest 3 streaming with VD does have compression artifacts. It is minimal but still there. You do like everything over time though, get used to it. You also must own ideally ad RTX4090, Wi-Fi6 access point or router to obtain the bandwidth to push the quest. The same argument can be said for the Crystal though as a 4090 is ideal. If looking just at FS2024 currently as the only game, the Quest 3 with the required hardware and setup is ahead of the race for now. Microsoft might drop and update which will change that though, as could Pimax. In other games though like DCS, FS2020 for instance the Pimax is ahead of the race in many areas. resolution and clarity, the colours are amazing and the local dimming cannot be understated. I love that I have the luxury of owning both headsets, in an ideal world that is in my opinion the best solution. Interestingly in regards to your question around equal resolution, as I have stepped the res down on the Pimax Crystal for this video to only 80%, its actually pretty close to being 1 to 1 of the Quest 3. SO if we just go on that alone, the Quest three is ahead of the race by around 5-10frames. Although they are getting those frames in very different ways. Quest 3 is using SSW, the Pimax is using FFR and a reduced resolution. The quest 3 is actually a very capable headset and if it wasn't for the Virtual Desktop software the margin would not be as tight. Hopefully that helps break things down, its a tough one though and my honest hope is a software update or fix will really make the Crystal stretch its legs in FS2024.

@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs mate legend reply there. 👌 I do hope some sort of fix or additional settings in the pimax software can come from this partnership. Personally iv never been that intersted in the quest as I don't see it as big enough step from g2. I know the lenses are great etc. I'm deadset on the super and although I have a 7800x3d and 4090 I'm struggling to get a good experience on a g2 at native resolution so this worry m for the future of pumax headsets

@LimitlessHorizonVRSimrigs yeh open xr toolkit works for me. It slightly better fps than steam. Motion reprojection works but seems introduce very bad stuttering when changing direction quickly. It works much better in 2020. For this reason I turn off. I'm getting 40/50fps now with very low settings and native resolution. Dlss is not an option in the g2. Far too blurry gauges. Did you see the pimax super is now available to preorder the 50ppd panel?. Im deadset on this version now

I am running Wi-Fi 6 TPlink AP: www.tp-link.com/au/business-networking/omada-sdn-access-point/eap670/ Honestly, the only major benefit of Wi-Fi6E over Wi-Fi6 is congestion in crowded areas like apartments. Yes the Q3 is WiFi6E however the max connection speed is still only 2400mbit on the Q3 which the TPlink AP I have listed above is able to deliver. If someone is living in a congested area or willing to spend the money on a future proof upgrade, I would also suggest any of these these: www.tp-link.com/au/business-networking/omada-wifi-wifi7/ My Router is not consumer grade and honestly not required for this, so any good solid gig router will suffice, mine is the Cisco 897VA: www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/800-series-routers/data_sheet_c78-519930.html

Honestly, normally in the simrig I will only use the Pimax Crystal Light for sim stuff, its only been with the release of FS2024 and the terrible frames that pulled me back into using the Q3 instead for the advantages detailed in this video. I also use the Q3 for other videos like Cyberpunk2077 that are also running better in the Q3. With a really powerful WiFi setup and VD though, its pretty amazing.

That's not true; you will still benefit from the high PPD lenses.

@@calvin7799 according to VR fly sim guy who tested the XR4 and vr1 : he says that vr1 at same 35 PPD looks better than XR4 at 35 PPD . Only when the game support quad view foveated rendering like dcs for example then the xr4 wins interms of clarity and sharpness vs the vr1 . Same case will probably be with the pimax crystal super
