hate to comment so late but literally blockate dying is such a sad thing to me. the thing that sucks is they could have added cool stuff but they literally only added hats and particles (+ too many shapes). literally the only notable updates since 2019 are timeteles and the new ui. all those years they could've added NPCs, logic blocks, resizing, but they never really did anything with the game leading to it dying. the 2020 blockate days are days i miss dearly and i genuinely think that was the best year of blockate. getting on blockate daily during the holidays or after school and playing it for HOURS on my windows 7 computer that struggled with graphics 1. best trend was probably ant colony games xd

I remember making a game called "build a house in a city" which basically was me tricking players into building houses for my city game. Its been rennamed blox ville ever since and still has most of its stuff preserved.

also the truss on the starter island if you put a decal on it VS. on a rotated full truss block the one you placed will be rotated while the one on the starter island won't

i first played blockate in 2019 when my friend from school introduced it to me, and man those were some of the best times of my life a bunch of my school friends would play together and we would make random stuff in my world. in 2021 i played blockate because i was bored during the pandemic and the game i played the most was called castle raiders it used to be so active and i had a lot of fun playing and interacting with others, sadly that game is dead now and the creator changed up the map a bunch
