Well, I know this, the prospect of the Delves and their potential, is the only thing that got me to buy and play the expansion. I've been wanting solo content like delves for 20 years in WOW, if they didn't have them, I wouldn't have bought it, period.

I love the idea of Delves. Being a priest player, I am a bit worried if I can do it. Having some slows, but not much,I am puting my hopes in Mind control.

I really hate the sporbit mechanic. There should be some way to clear them permanently, as melee, it's just too much constant chaos. I like a more relaxed vibe.

I absolutely can't stand this delve. I can't see shit at all in this delve.

In your game there are no shadows around the screen, everything is clear. Is this something that can be done? These shadows around the screen are distracting and strain your eyes a lot. By the way, great video.

Hmm, I love healing so this is kind'a big let down for me not being able to play as USEFULL healer in delves.

Would arcane or fire be able to do this? Or would we be locked into frostt for higher tier delves?

bubbles candles and the like in the delves where my least favorite mechanic other wise the delves where fun.

make them hard as hell and give the same loot value as m+

I love this idea of solo dungeons with the delves. I loved mage tower and I would even be open to them making extremely hard solo content. Maybe an extension of m+ or make it like raids where you aren’t able to complete it on release but slowly get further and further and you are strong enough (or clever enough) to beat it.

im curious though, do you really like how most of these are just caves with weird terrain? a couple of the nerubian ones feel like dungeons and a bit less mushroomy, but im not really into the idea of being inside mossy ugly dark caves whenever i wanna play delve-like content

Delves is the BEST Option for ppl with no nerves for randoms or ppl with short time :D im so hyped up about it and cant wait to grind Delves !

Honestly Delves fixed all the issues with Torghast, the same boring theme the entire way through and having to go through every single tier to reach a high tier.

Really insightful video. I never had more fun than tanking heroic dungeons in TBC Classic, but as a returning player to retail for TWW the idea of tanking Mythic+ is horrifying. There is SO much stuff going on in the videos I’ve watched. I’ll still probably start with something simpler like a BM Hunter but this information gives me hope that I can eventually tank on a warrior alt.

If you don’t want to raid and just enjoy the game solo is this a good alternative??

They missed with the delves, as a main healer I cant solo them, you have to go dps or have a group to do them. Wish they made them like mage tower. Non group content always sucks for healers.

Delves and follower dungeons are great features to help with bridging the gap between new and veteran players. These are fantastic training tools. Regarding dungeons, Tanking is easy to get into and play casually, but MASTERING tanking requires a lot of concentration thats incredibly rewarding when you pull off all the little nuances that come with playing the role efficiently. Delves is a great way to train and focus on your own growth as a player rather than having the excuse to blame others. Follower dungeons are a good training tool as well that can help you understand what adjustments you can make to help the party succeed (ex. Keeping track of and not LOS-ing your healer. Then blaming them for not healing you or keeping up when all they needed was 3 more seconds to get to you.) Then what knowledge you can gain from that example is to self reflect on what YOU couldve done better, such as understanding how much time the healer needs to get to you and if you should use defensives, then realizing you have an aoe stun or slow to kite mobs to give the healer time to catch up and heal, then going even further with improving yourself by understanding that youre not taking scary damage when all the enemies are stunned or slowed and cant reach you so instead you dont waste your defensive cds for the 2-5 seconds the enemies are stunned or slowed for and wait until the cc is over to start mitigating and then by that time your healer should be in a comfortable position to keep you alive.

So, these are basically Torghast 2.0, but are they better than them I hope.

How do you solo delves as a caster or melee class? I played as an elemental shaman and I got destroyed.

Nothing touches Mountain Thane Prot Warrior in Delves. It's an S tier choice.

I hope delves help raise the average skill level in the game. The skill gap between new or casual players and high key pushers or mythic raiders is huge and it tends to take literal years for new players to become good enough for hard high end content unless they take the game really seriously. It would go a long way if delves taught them the basics because questing is brain dead easy and completely useless at teaching you the game.

i like this system im casual player and i love solo things this is very good to me.

For a second I was worried tanking in delvs would be really bad (especially now when after 8 years I drop main frost dk for prot warrior) thanks for dropping that rock out form my back.

Quick update on the coffer keys acquisition: you can get 4 guaranteed keys from "weekly" caches by doing world quests and Delves. After that you can get shards (you need 100 for a key) from world quests and doing radiant echoes event. My guesstimate is 6-8 coffer keys per week on average by doing content. Oh and once you've progressed in the season you can buy coffer keys from Delves vendor!

Do you know how many koffer keys I can get a day? Like, can I get 4 koffer keys a day to open the 4 bountiful delves each day? Or should I be looking to save the keys to open the chests on higher delves?

Great video mate. This is my plan as well. 4 new chars lvled through remix. To do the delves. 1 tank, 1 healer. 2 dps (ranged/mellee) Should be fun.

Does it even count as ‘tanking’ if you aren’t having to work to keep aggro against the threat created by other players? To me it’s just solo play with a tank spec. Follower dungeons are much more realistic place to practise - that darn hunter sends his pets in so quick! The downside is they are not designed to be max lvl content.

Some content about what classes/roles are good for soloing or small grouping delves would be sick

soloing on healer is awful, the mobs randomly aggro bran or yourself, and then you are just struggling to keep yourself alive while you tank the mobs and wait for bran to kill shit lmao
