Fun at the beach with sadness everyday. Ancol, Jakarta.
We visited Ancol Beach in Jakarta.
We were there on a week day. We were told that it gets busy on weekends.
Plenty of places to eat, hire boats and paddle boats.
Nice white beaches to swim.
We visited Ancol Beach Shopping Mall which has a movie theatre and plenty of dining options. (Now permanently closed.)
We payed our respects at the Ereveld Dutch War Cemetry as there were Australians buried there as well. We didn't even know about it. Really sad stories.
Sunter Mall in the Ancol district has a great burger place called Five Monkeys. Awesome burgers at a great price.

Take a walk and look at Resorts along Sunset (Pattaya) Beach, Koh Lipe. Resorts we saw were, Ananya Lipe Resort Bundhaya Resort Bundhaya Villas Then, finish up at the Thaidurm Restaurant for dinner. Beautiful Seafood. Great Restaurant.
